Back to Genesis 4:15-17 again, dezmodnar pointed out that 'nod' is really a mistranslation of 'fugitiveness'. Yet, the land of 'fugitiveness' is clearly stated to lie to the east of Eden, and was clearly already inhabited. If it weren't, Cain would not have needed a mark to keep people from killing him (you also have to wonder how people would know what the mark meant, or why they would kill him if they didn't already know what killing was about).

I don't want to come across rascist or mean, I am just really curious about this and can't ask the person directly because I don't want to offend her. I live in L.A. and work with with this 25 year old Mexican female who has lived in the U.S. since she was 2. Her vocabulary and English is very poor considering she lived here since the age most people start to speak. For instance, she may refer to fish (plural) as "fishes" - stuff like that. I realize that her parents must not have spoken English, which slowed the process, but she has lived here 23 out of the 25 years of her life. Any ideas?

There is a question and answers from yesterday that I want to print. I right-clicked on the screen and clicked Print but when it printed the width is too wide and the answers are cut off on the right hand side of the page.

I live in Canada and I think we need some sort of Holiday between January and March. It's cold, people are tired and there's a lot of snow to contend with. I think a Stat. Holiday in Feb. would be great! What do you think! I'm not sure if other countries get time off between these months, let me know!

ok i know i'm going on a bit of a rant, but im not a bigot. i am just am so damn sick of these losers. all it is being trendy and following a fad. they practically all dress the same and have that same stupid haircut. it just makes me angry to see that so many people can't think for themselves. it has to be an immature mind at work. i am always sure to put a foot up one of those kids asses when i see them go to a metal show and try to pit.
