Yes it is very annoying to have people do that. I consider them very shallow people. I have heard stuff about people and I take it with a grain of salt until I get the chance to meet the person myself. In fact I was told some not nice things about the church I now attend. I have never been happier. It is a great litttle church with a very large heart. No one is judgemental everyone is accepted for who they are.My minister is the school janitor how like Jesus who was a carpenter. He is a very good person and I am really glad that I did not listen to the bad hype. It is hard but try to overcome with the truth about yourself and let your light shine through. God bless and good luck

If you mean someone else is owning what someone else said "Evil" about you...I would say that, the person, is just wanting attention... They'll get it any way they can!! Just ignore all of it !! Go about your business, and stay out of that "Cat-fight", you'll be a Better person for it, and you wont have to live with the guilt of all the hurt it caused, anyone... Its called be the "Better-Person" and show them all how to rise above all those "Child like Games", that really can be harmful, for years to come, to that person, the tongue is a deadly weapon, according to the bible!! Toxic, gossup, is so "Unhealthy"..

I don't think anyone really likes it. But people are not all the same and it continue.

If someone starts talking to me about someone that I don't know closely, I just say something like, "I would rather not talk about her/him. I don't know them well enough to discuss anything about them." If you do that, people tend to quit telling you crap because they know you don't listen and you don't care.
Half the time I don't care even if I know the person. I would think most people are too busy for those high school games.

Weird, I was just thinking about this yesterday. I can't say it annoys me, but it does sadden me. Just remember to always keep an open mind and look for the good in each person you meet. We all expect the same as a courtesy in return!

Yep! I get it all the time and I've finally figured out that if you consider the source, you can just blow it off. Idiots will always spread lies because they are braindead

So who was talking bad about you? That would be a quality that you rather not have in a friend. So see the positive side of it. You'll know ahead of time.
