I dont agree with it and would never sit on a jury where that was an option. However I dont lose any sleep at night when a murdered is put down. I would never be out protesting it either. I'd rather put my time and effort in a more worthy cause.

This one's gonna get a lot of answers indeed. Personally, I don't agree with the death penalty. I feel that it's God duty to decide whether a life should be taken or not.

I do not agree with the death penalty. Some crimes certainly make me angry enouth to think about it. Bottom line is that death will not erase the crime. And someone has to administer the death penalty. I could not do it and do not feel right about asking someone else to do somethong I would feel is wrong.

It has been statistically proven that the death penalty is an excellent deterrent. Crime rates are down nationally since death penalty laws have been reinacted across the country.

I say, string 'em up!

Of course, I do. I don't know what's wrong with the people who don't.

I suppose that some people think that positive re-enforcement in the prisons and a slap on the wrist will straighten out guys like Bundy, Manson, and Peterson.

It's just a shame that they're not letting them ride the lightning like they used to. The needle is certainly more humane than what some of those sickos did to their victims.

No because first the word penalty means a teaching then if one is killed what teaching does he get. secondly if every one has a right to live how comes then one to be killed?
It is a violation of humanity to othorize death penalty.

Yes and no. I do support it because there are so many people on death row since 1982. Go ahead and fry them like chicken if you are going to do it. And then no because the moral part of me can not tolerate it due to religious reasons. I guess I am in the indecisive group..
