Many times when a person asks a question, and some one will answer back "who cares...." or "Do you really think anyone cares?"
BUt if they didn't care they wouldn't obviously waste thier time to write that wouldn't they don't care right?

When I was single I lived at home it was not the most ideal situaion but I paid rent to my folks, Food was plentiful and worries in some ways were very minimal. My walk with God was pure and simple and filled with lots of joy. I did not have the pressures and anxieties I do now.

I want to word what I say very carefully I am blessed God is god but life is MUCH harder now that I am married and managing a carreer and an apartment and ministry.

Things are not as plentiful as when I lived home, God is awesome we are fed clothed and have a roof over our heads but we work hard and there was a season when we moved and rent went up dramactically as a result we worked an extra job for 2 years so it took at one time 3 jobs just to live and pay bills.

Does it ever get easier? Please pray for me to accept the things I cant change and the courage to change the things I can I count my blessings but the trials are still around What is your opinion?

When I prayed to God for Knowledge and Understanding, He gave me only as much as my little brain could handle ,fed me slowly. And gave me Book after Book, every time I turned around ,having a Question there was another book.
Some one had that same question many years ago. no what I know is not new just new to me. With out a Teachable Spirit. Truth will never be realized.

i have been reading the bible-and it is very interesting-and i prayed that prayer-Jesus im sorry for my sins-come into my heart and help me-be my friend-amen--he said to do that in Revelation 3 vs 19&20 -but couldnt he have just sent us rules -why did he have to fulfill what MOses and Isaiah said the blood atonement for our sins Isaiah 52 vs 13-53 vs12 to be the lamb of God sacrificed once for all for us. couldnt it have been left out of the bible? so he didnt have to come from heaven and take our place-adam and eve tried to cover their nakedness but God had to slay an animal (blood) and give them a animal skin to cover their sin. well what is your opinion? thanks alot pal

My husband and I just bought a house and moved in. We LOVE it, but we have a lady next door who I think has some mental issues that has been coming over several times a day asking to use our phone. At first, we thought maybe she was having troubles with her line, so we tried to be neighborly and allowed her to use it. The other day, she came over, asked to use the phone, and next thing I knew she was crying to whoever it was she was talking to- and not just crying- screaming and bawling like a little kid crying. She has never been in the house when my children were here, which is good because I'm sure that would have scared them to death- but how can I tell her to stop coming over WITHOUT setting her off?? If she's crazy I don't want to face her alone..

I've been going to the baptist church for the past 8 months and have felt really great. I feel as though I can feel God's presence there. However, I get very upset (like other people) about the terrible things going on in our world. On television on Saturday I watched part of the news about the bombing in Lebanon where 15 children were killed. It showed you a small injured child being carried to shelter and he was badly hurt and shaking violently due to shock. I have been unable to get the picture out my head and I couldn't go to church on Sunday - I felt so angry! I'm very confused. People tell me - "that's not God's fault". Surely if God is so powerful he can stop this. These poor children have done no harm and it's driving me mad thinking about it!

Let's for a second do something that is almost never done.......let's take the anti-stem cell argument to it's most extreme point.
Christians don't favor the research because every living piece of tissue is part of a being with a soul. Thus advances in that area would interfere with God's work, which is considered perfect.
But they don't see anything wrong with organ transplants, which use a piece of a human being with a soul to save anothers life.
I know that this is an extreme argument, but I believe one with merit. If you are against stem cell research, you should also naturally be anti-transplant, but I bet you aren't.
One more thing just occured to me: I've heard christians say that they would never choose to benefit from stem-cell research, because it sometimes involves murdered babies. But if your little one needed a heart or kidney transplant, and the only donor was a kid accidentally shot in a drive by, you would see no problem accepting the organ. What's the difference?

And the time traveling was PROVEN and NOT disputed?

WHAT would be the REACTION to this actual recorded footage?

Oh--- and what if it revealed a VERY DIFFERENT reality from the way "The Passion of The Christ" movie looked!!

Have you ever thought about what you'd like at your funeral? What kind of music? Preacher? Casket? What you'd like your family and friends to wear? What you'd like them to say about you? What you want to wear to the grave?

The most impressive funeral I've ever seen, for its liveliness and tribute, was Jim Henson's, which I attended at St. John's Cathedral, NYC, in 1990. (It was open to the public.) When I go, I hope I deserve a funeral like his (most likely on a smaller scale, though).

Anyway, what do you imagine, or what would you want, for your funeral?

I don't mean in a racist or derogatory way either. It seems that every other word in Rap music is "N" this and Yo "N" what's up and so on and that is completely acceptable. However, if a white person was to say yo "N" what's up (to a black or white person) in a regular way and not mean anything bad about it at all it is totally wrong. Doesn't that seem like a double standard? If black people don’t like that word and don't want people to say it why do they use it so prevalently in popular culture?

P.S. I am definitely NOT a racist...I am just curious. :-)
