When I was single I lived at home it was not the most ideal situaion but I paid rent to my folks, Food was plentiful and worries in some ways were very minimal. My walk with God was pure and simple and filled with lots of joy. I did not have the pressures and anxieties I do now.

I want to word what I say very carefully I am blessed God is god but life is MUCH harder now that I am married and managing a carreer and an apartment and ministry.

Things are not as plentiful as when I lived home, God is awesome we are fed clothed and have a roof over our heads but we work hard and there was a season when we moved and rent went up dramactically as a result we worked an extra job for 2 years so it took at one time 3 jobs just to live and pay bills.

Does it ever get easier? Please pray for me to accept the things I cant change and the courage to change the things I can I count my blessings but the trials are still around What is your opinion?

Does it get easier? Yes, but only if you take the effort to make it so. Religious beliefs and supernatural characters will not pay your bills or make you life easier in any realistic sense. You need to evaluate your goals, which obviously includes paying the bills. You may need to get additional education and move to a better paying career. Make a sensible plan to reach your goals. Then take each step of your plan until you have attained what you want.

Life is expensive... especially is Southern California..... time for a vocational change. If things don't get easier (financially) then you need to consider your choice of work and why it's not providing enough to live on. God is good....but you still need to use common sense. Good luck.

Satan and his demons are so busy trying to keep us distracted and keep service to God in the back of our minds. It will not get easier but know this: "He who endures to the end will be saved." Everlasting life is your reward for the trials you experience as you make your walk with God. Be especially thankful that you had good times in your youthful service. This will help you to persevere.

Lord, often we find ourselves in hard times. We wonder why things are so hard. We love you and desire to live lives that are devoted to you, and doing your will...and yet there are times when money is scarce, and we get worried.

In the name of Jesus Christ, I ask for assurance for this person that you let them know, as in your stated word, you will never leave nor forsake them. You will never let them fall. "Do not be anxious for anything" you said...."but with prayer and thanksgiving, bring your requests before God, and the peace of God will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus".

Father, your son told us to cast our cares on you because you care for us. Your word tells us to seek first your kingdom and your righteousness, and all things will be added to us.

In all these things, I ask that this person, who is seeking assurance, will get it...that no matter what circumstances may look like, you are soverign in their lives, and you will finish the work you have begun in their lives. "I know the plan I have for you (says the Lord), plans to prosper and not harm you, to give you hope and a future". Please bring them peace today, in Jesus' name, amen.

When you give your life to Christ, and especially when you are at your most venerable you become public enemy number one to the devil. Sail threw it with your head held high and always keep the faith. It will end!
