Islamofascist terrorists are bombing or planning to bomb so many places around the globe. Most recently in India, which is a place I'd like to travel to... except for the risk of being blown to bits.

I was in London 5 days before the bombings there, and I think I'd like to go back. Do they not understand that all they are doing is really pissing off the rest of the world?

At what age in that religion do they turn you into a homicidal/suicidal zombie?

I'm not sure if I can find the right category for this question, so this one seems as good as any.

OK, since evolutionists love to come into this category anyway, why not answer a question directed toward you.

Some of you who are atheists or agnostics use evolution as your crutch. You even have the audacity to call what you believe The Theory of Evolution when, in actuality, it should be called The Hypothesis of Evolution.

There is no PROOF that man evolved. Yes, we adapted (e.g., we no longer use our appendix, we have grown), but we have NOT evolved. No proof exists that we came from another species. Therefore, to call your concept the Theory of Evolution is incorrect.

How can you say something is a theory when it hasn't been proven? As Webster says, your theory may be "a plausible or scientifically acceptable general principle or body of principles offered to explain phenomena ," but it hasn't been proven.

Since proving this and proving that seems to be your mantra, shouldn't you focus more on proving YOUR case than trying to disprove ours?

I am not Christian, but am going to baptize my six month old daughter just to humor my family. However, I will be waiting until at least November, when my brother comes home from Iraq. Hypothetically, should she die tomorrow, in your loving "Christian" beliefs would she go to hell because I chose not to baptize her yet?

Why does the police stop me from playing loud music at an occasional party when they don't stop muslims from screaming on their loudspeakers 5 times a day? Yes, they do have a right to religious freedom but why should that violate the others rights to peace? Screaming on the loudspeaker has nothing to do with religious freedom, they can verywell practice their faith without a loudspeaker!

The Confederate flag had nothing to do with racism. The south was fighting for state freedoms and rights. Yes slavery was a part of it, but that's not all it was about! Now, for all the people out there who are going to refer to me as a racist, 1) my best freind in high school was black 2) I've dated several black men 3) I would vote for Condaleeza Rice as Prez any day! Only mature people's comments please (preferably black and white).

My understanding is that the Latin expression, "Nemo Me Impugne Lacessit" means "never dare attack me with impugnity". Is that correct, and how do you pronounce the last word (Lacessit)properly in Latin? (From my scant understanding, I figure the beginning is pronounced as, Nay-mo may impune-ay...

You know what I'm talking about? They make it so you can't over do it I guess, but I find it just gets in the way; you can't put too much on I think. That and the red pepper at a pizza place...why are the holes so small?

I put the emphasis on the word WORD because despite the disassociated view of many in the west islam was spread by word rather than the sword.
In the Holy Quran it states; "Let there be no compulsion in religion." But the fact that ISLAM is the fastest growing religion proves that it is spread by the word.
However compared to christianity ISLAM has a good track record when it comes to religious tolerence. When Spain was reconquered by the christians from Muslim hands, the jews took sanctuary in Islamic lands. In contrast, after the fall of the crusader states in PALESTINE, SYRIA etc some christians remained behind and were treated with the utmost respect and kindness.

Okay..first let me say I was raised in a church that does not believe in speaking in tounges, they teach that it was done away with in 1 Cor 13:8. I have come to understand that this verse also say's: where there are tounges they shall cease, where there is KNOWLEDGE it will pass away.

I've studied this chapter out very carefully and I don't believe "knowledge" will be done away with also as tounges. I've looked up every word in the greek. It would seem to me that this verse has been taken out of context.

I can't seem to find one single scripture that say's tounges, miracles, interpretation of tounges, healing etc..were to cease at some point. I always thought there was some verse that was very clear it would...I'm eating crow!

Show me where these gifts were to end. Please I don't want to hear long winded reasons...just the bible verses

An innordinate fear. I understand that the beginning of wisdom, is fear of the Lord. But it must be maddening to be attracted and repelled at the same time. To thirst for understanding, to approach the well, and then to turn away, thirsty. To see others come away refreshed.

Again, is atheism a phobia...?

I'm just wondering (seriously) if anyone out there listens to Pat Robertson and looks to him as a spiritual and moral leader.

For me, it is very hard to see how any person could listen to his rantings and ravings calling for the assassination of individuals, stating that "God is a Republican" (I thought God was not able to be understood by the human mind), and to say that the homosexuals and corruption in New Orleans brought on Katrina.

Do people take this at face value, or consider it the rantings of a lunatic? I definitely fall within the latter category. (Try not to make fun of him too much, I don't want to make him a martyr for his cause)

I have noticed on this forum that many people seem to have an out right hatred of God. Shouldn't we blame Satan/Lucifer if our lives are like crap? Aren't THEY (Satan and Lucifer are two different entities) the ones causing the evil in the world?
