He doesn't have a physical body. He and his dominions are covering the earth. He is anywhere there is sin. He primarily can be found in controlling substances and within filth. But he also has free reign in the dwellings prepared for righteous habitation. Right now. Soon he will be expelled and have no power over man.

The devil is all around us, just as God is. The devil is always trying to get us to go against what we know is right. I will pray that you are able to keep him away from your soul.

Neither. The devil, or Lucifer, known as Satan and many other names, was a son of God, as was Christ. In the premortal existence, God set forth a plan for his children to come to earth and receive bodies, to live by faith and learn good from evil. God planned for a Savior to atone for our mistakes that we might be able to repent and come again into His presence. He asked who would undertake that mission. Christ answered that He would go and do as the Father asked and the glory would be God's. Satan volunteered to be the Savior and promised to make sure that everyone of the children would come home, that God would lose none of them. Therefore, He wanted God's glory for doing this great thing of not losing a single soul. Essentially, Satan would take away our agency, not allowing us to make any mistakes. Thus we learn nothing. God chose Christ, Satan got offended and rebelled against God. God prevailed and cast Satan down to earth never to receive a body of flesh and bone. Thus, Satan and his followers are amongst us tempting us and persuading us to do wrong. Thus necessitating repentance on our part that we might partake of Christ's atoning sacrifice and blessing in order to return to God. That is the basis of life as we know it. The good influences coming from Christ and His followers and the evil influences coming from Satan and his followers. The wicked people of the earth do not recognize that they are the unwitting tools of the devil, but so it is.

Be sensible and vigilant, because your enemy the Devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking someone he MAY (someone who allows him) devour. He speaks to our mind to tempt and deceive us, in an attempt to keep you from receiving your salvation, which is accepting Jesus and getting off the path to hell that Adam put us on. If you are saved he tries to hinder you from doing the works God call us to, and to capture your soul (which is your mind, will, and emotions). We need to submit ourselves to God, and resist the enemy and he will flee from us. We also need to renew our mind daily and cast down our imaginations to purify our soul and deliver it into the hands of God.

well to be honest in the bible it says that the devil is here in earth to test ppl and to reign on earth, but once Jesus comes back to get all his ppl he will leave the rest of the ppl here and let the devil torture then and hurt them....and then it says that once 1000 yrs. ihas past God will take the devil and all of his ppl and send them to hell for eternity. He is a spirit being. He cannot be in more than one place at a time. The bible says 'he prowls around, like a roaring lion, seeking who he may devour'. If he's picking on you, you must be pretty important, because he picks on the heavyweights. It's probably not him picking on you, he has lots of helpers (one third of the angelic host).
