I am only attracted to men, and they are attracted to me. So why are the girls hitting on me?

Honestly, I can understand the point that God has paid for our bodys, and that Jesus lives within each of us, but do you all live like Mother Theresa? Is it just me that drinks, smokes, eats fast foods, has sex, lays around on a Saturday afternoon and does nothing, does anyone else do this, or at least some of this? Who decides where the line is drawn and what is good or bad these days.

BTW....no Jacka**'s please.....1 word answers not required.....go find a better section to play in....

Okay and there's another point...is swearing something that does not project your body as a temple to the Lord?

I'm confused.

P.S. Two word answers like "FREE WILL" are cop-outs, if your are going to play that card, then explain why all the rules to live by according to the bible. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a real jack**s, I just hope that someone might be able to sense my desperation for an answer here.

Thanks.

This is for my fellow waiters and waitresses out there.

When you dine out at a restaurant, do you evaluate your server's performance? Point out (either to yourself, the server, or your table) what they are doing wrong or if they do something really good?

If you do make notes to yourself, do you inform them or keep it to yourself? Do you leave the face down/face up penny?

Some activities involve more risk that others (sky diving, sleeping) but every action involves some amount of risk, right? No matter how small the risk factor is.

is it our true reflection what we see i the mirror? or is it colored with our judgement? mostly, it makes us some what unhappy what we see. and with advancing age, or after a major illness, or mishap, what we see in the mirror, is disheartening. so what should be done? who spends more time in front of it, a beauty, or an ugly woman? are there really magical mirrors in which we can see our future , like the gypsies do?

I was curious about the expression that "God has a plan for your life". Generally when bad things happen, it's said that God has a plan for you. Who does god plan for?

Do you believe that someone who spends his life in and out of prison, murders someone and then is executed himself is "god's plan"? If not, why does god have a plan for some people and not others?

If you over eat horrible food, never excersise, treat your body badly and smoke, then get cancer, is that god's plan? It seems more like cause and effect to me. What parts of your life does god plan for, and where is your personal responsibility in your own life come in to play?

Ok..so I can see how Cain and Abel came from Adam and Eve, but what about the rest? Wouldn't that be indicative of incest if Eve was the only female, and her husband, Cain and Abel were the only men, either Eve slept with her hsuband and eventually had a daughter, or Eve slept with Cain or Abel. Either way, there had to be incest in the family, because if Eve DID have a daughter, that daughter would of had to sleep with either her father (Adam) or her brothers (Cain and Abel) so....anyone got any BETTER suggestion or is the bible just full of sin from the very beginning?

You know, the people online feel so secure (especially on yahoo aswers) in their chairs and while some of us put an effort in our questions, many just reply like we are trash. What's really bad is that the people who answer us are the one's who expect to get exact answers themselves with no insults. I saw many questions where the user was serious and the "big shots" toss them like trash. And I know that this question will bring them here to say more non sense. But those who know what I mean, please reply. thank you.

I think having an open mind is truly trying to understand how another person thinks or feels about something.

It doesn't have to mean that a person in the end understands how the other person feels, but at least he/she has to try.

I noticed on myself that i almost refuse to try to understand how racists, homophobes and people who discriminate feel or think. That means i am close-minded to some parts of society.

Is it possible to truly have an open mind ?

I'm not really talking about the religious view but more of what we are doing in life and what is everyone trying to achieve.

I'm not trying to be depressing or anything, please hear me out. I am a religious person. I believe that after we die we will be reunited with our families and be together forever. Now for those of you who believe that after we die there is nothing, what are you living for? If death is the end, why go on living? Seriously, I would be very depressed if I thought everything I do here was for nothing so I'm wondering how you go on every day. I'm sorry if this depresses anyone, that isn't my intention, I'm just curious.
