is it our true reflection what we see i the mirror? or is it colored with our judgement? mostly, it makes us some what unhappy what we see. and with advancing age, or after a major illness, or mishap, what we see in the mirror, is disheartening. so what should be done? who spends more time in front of it, a beauty, or an ugly woman? are there really magical mirrors in which we can see our future , like the gypsies do?

Socially, I pretty much hate everything. I hate people, I feel as though I am better than everybody else. I hate this about myself, however, my knock back down to earth is staring at my face in the mirror. I do it to feel human and humble. It's not that I am unhappy with myself, mostly, it's to remind myself that I should not be what i am.

I think it's mostly confusion, because we really don't know what we look like, and we don't really know what the world experiences with us in it. I think "i" the person looking in the mirror normally experiences the world. So Considering that what we see is ourselves as the world sees us, makes mirrors and reflections seem so foreign and makes us feel vulnerable.

Everything we see is colored by our judgement; our realities are completely subjective in relation to one another and to what is "really" going on. The only way to look in the mirror happily is to be satisfied with one's life, or know you are going in the right direction.

when we realize things like illness, aging, death and sickness are natural and inevitable themes of life, we can fear them less. It is pointless to try and hide from these things or cover them up. We need to really face our fears and work to notice what our judgements are.

I don't think mirrors can see into the future, since the future is just an infinity of possibilities.

I look in the mirror to make sure that I don't have food in my teeth, to make sure that my clothes don't look crazy and so that my makeup and hair are not all over the place. I don't just sit around and look at myself. That would be vain. I do believe in mirror magic but I have never used it. I have heard that you can place mirrors facing outside in each window of your home so that all negative energy will be reflected back onto those who try to send it into your home. I have never tried it though.

Magical mirrors? Probably not, but then I'm no expert on that sort of phenomenae. Have you ever looked in different mirrors with different lighting and seen yourself in a totally different way? How a person sees himself/herself in the mirror is often a reflection of the self-image they already have. What many of us fail to realize is that others are often so self-absorbed that they're not looking at us, but wondering how they look themselves.

I believe it isn't a true reflection, It is colored with our judgment. We see what we hope no one else sees. I wish there were magic mirrors to see the future, but I doubt it.
