When you are Filled with the Holy Spirit you get to know Him(Jesus) personally. It makes it much easier to understand His word and His truth(Is this my nephew Philip G.?)

It's the concept of Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Though the word "Trinity" is not actually found in the Bible, the concept is there. It's all over the Gospels, care to read them.
The gist of the scriptural basis is "I and the Father are one" or something like that. "No one comes to the Father except through Me".
When the earth became full of sinners, there was the need for God to come down as Man, and not in a grand way, but in the most humble way to identify Himself with the poor, the sick, the homeless, the sinners, the unclean and the like. So He came to earth like any other person does-- as a baby. A Son.

Why I believe: When I was between the ages of 18 and 19(I am 23 now) I was in a whorlwind of drugs and alcohol. I was raised in a Christian home until I was 14(we were the typical christian family.....My sister got pregnant at 16, my mom divorced my then step father to be with a younger man, and shipped me off to live with the father that I barley knew) When I moved in with my dad and stepmom I didnt have to go to church and they didnt shove "religion" down my throat. Truthfully it was great. Well make a long story short, I never got along with my dad so I moved into my own apartment while still in high school. I recieved my 5,000 dollar settlement from being attacked by a chow at the age of 12 and it went up my nose and threw it away on alcohol, I guess to mask the bitterness that I had towards my mom. Within 3 weeks it was gone. No job. No college education, and the rent had to be paid. I felt that I needed to test the Lord, because I felt like he betrayed me. When the Lord finally got ahold of me and I gave everything up to him, my whole life changed. I decided to follow what my heart told me instead of my parents and all the other influence that I had in my life. I prayed that the Lord would help me get off the drugs and to help me stop drinking, and he did. Today I am 3 years sober have a BEAUTIFUL family my son just turned 6 months, and I am a full time college student.
I dont know if you are looking for help or just curious about peoples lives either way you whoever you are will be in my prayers.
Follow your heart.

Don't bother, because Jesus is not, never was, and never has been God. He has never been a person of the trinity because the trinity is a false doctrine, an untruth. There is ONE GOD and many Messengers of God. Jesus was one of these Messengers of God, and was Prophet-Founder of Christianity. He was the Messiah that the Jews prayed for but didn't recognize. Jesus was a man, a mortal and non-divine man. He was a most wonderful, beautiful man, sent by God for a most noble purpose.

Jesus IS God. In the bible, there is is never a mention of the Holy Trinity. God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit makes up of the holy trinity. But many Christians don't even realise all 3 forms represent God.

You are probably not familiar with The Holy Trinity which the bible states is made up of 3 divine persons (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) united in the one Supreme Divine Being. This should give you enough indication that Jesus is God. Do you read the Bible??????

I dont. Thats the whole trenity thing. I think they are seperate people. That jesus is somebody who was put on this earth to achieve great things, and by god he did! Jesus was a pure, special person. I believe he had a peice of god in him, but not that they were the same person. If they where, wouldnt they just have the same damn name, that would make things alot easier.

My mother prayed everyday, for me .I came out of that coma with little harm. I learned to walk again, speak feed myself another words I came back from the living dead. Jesus made me whole.

Christians dont' believe that Jesus is God. He is the SON of God. Basically, he is the Saviour the prophets predicated would be sent by God to save humanity.
