If there is a religion that instruct you to recognize one God, and to recognize your parents(to be dutyful to whaterver please them) to recognize your neighbours rights (to be kind with them-to visit them-to check thier needs- help them when in need, never gossip about them- never annoy them in any way) to recognize others in religions as real brothers and sisters and others of different religions as brothers and sisters in humanity. To be hospitable to guests, wayfarers, to be charitable with the poor and the needy and that in the end the reward is eternal dewling in Paradise (the House of Etrenal Happiness & Joys) would you choose this religions?

For those of you that don't know, c.s. lewis was not only the mind behind The chronicles of narnia, he was also a well respected theologian. On top of that he is a well respected man, who was considered, as far as I know to be one of the most brilliant minds of our time.

"Either this man was, and is the son of God: or else a madman or something worse. You can shut him up for a fool, you can spit at him and kill him as a demon; or you can fall at his feet and call him Lord and God. But let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about him being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us."

There is a great seal hunt that occurs in canada where baby seals are hacked to death with clubs then dragged across the ice with hooks sometimes still alive, whilst their mother's watch. If mothers are murdered, the offspring are left on their own, and are more or less instantly issued with a death sentence. The seal hunters then skin them to make 'fashionable' (!) fur coats. The other side of this arguement is that the hunters need to make a living. I, personally am appalled at the way in which these animals are savagely slaughtered. THEY ARE INTELLIGENT ANIMALS. The mother's love for their pups is much like a human's. (imagine watching your child murdered then the carcasses tossed to one side like litter, where you are left with them to mourn) What is your view on all this?

Rarely have I heard a debate about the reality or the search for conclusive proof that dreams exist, nor have I ever heard arguments concerning the purity or infallability of any revelations that may come from the dream experience even though the entire world's populace has experienced a dream at one point or another. Seeing that both dreams and the concept of God require spiritual discernment, why is the concept of God set at such uneven odds when we attempt to logically render into being that which defies all physical measurement and credibility to those who cannot directly share in the individual experience?

What would happen if a group of atheists went through with a couple fossils and microscopes and maybe some 300 year old maps and different copies of the bible showing how the wording changed and so did the meaning,

think anyone would "think about it" and get back to them; would the errenoeous copies of the bible all be lies of satan, would the fossils be that way cause of noah (PBUH), would the 300 year old maps made by christian monks be lies of satan, would microscopes be tools of the devil
