Check out the book of Proverbs in the Bible. P.S. Virtue is its own reward.

You are not automaticly rewarded for doing good. Doing good is a long term reward. Being good should be done with expectation of a reward.

I'd also check the book of wisdom in addition to proverbs in the bible. You could also check out What is said about love in the Corinthians.

I call them sayings, like if you do goodd you are rewarded automatically. That saying means the 'immediate' reward is the good feeling you get because you did something good.

If you want 'proverbs', look in the Bible

Other sayings and beliefs (I'm not here to try to get you to believe any of them, that's us to you)

What goes around comes around

Do unto others as you would have done unto you

My personal belief is that if you do something decent, something decent will happen to you when you need it. And if you do something bad, you will have something worse happen to you.

Karma is pretty well known, that what you put out, you get back, if not in this life then in the next

No, other way around. No good deed goes unpunished.
What is doing good? Is it to help others, or to help your self? It is a fantastic dialetic debate. But for a simple question, no, you are not always rewarded automatically for a good deed. You will often times never be rewarded.
