When any of their unorthodox beliefs come up for discussion, Jehovah's Witnesses will say, "I believe this because the Bible says [paraphrase of verse] at [chapter and verse citation]," while a more accurate response would have been, "I believe this because the Watchtower Society teaches us that this is what the Bible says."

me and hubby have been trying 3 yrs and no success, 1 child, 9 yrs, we are in our late 20's, been checked out so far tests have come back normal, we are going to see a fertility specialist in a couple of days, I keep hearing, Wait on God, in His time and i do believe that, but is it really God's will for 12 yr old to have babies and throw them in garbarge cans? Am I wrong for wanting to see what's wrong and getting doctor help?

I read Muslims say the New Testament is corrupted, but then they also say that Christians have lost the way: Jesus said "I am the way, the truth and the life": notice the I AM there. So how have Christians lost the way, and Why would God allow his word to be corrupted; or do you mean that it is misinterpreted, so much of it is clear that it could not be misinterpreted. There is large agreement between Jews and Christians on the Old Testament, is this also true for Muslims; I think it is because a Muslim asked me if I read the book Ezekiel, so I went back and re-read it. And I am sure they believe in the accuracy of Genesis because much of it is copied out in the Quran, even more detail is given on some stories of Genesis, which may be inaccurate details.

Solution: we need to see how much we agree at least. There are many misunderstanding on ethical values. I agree for instance that it is wrong to make an image of the prophets, or anything; but not all Christians understand that

about Jehovah's Witnesses? My grandma is one and is trying to get me to be one too. She has been talking to me about it and a lot of it makes sense. Everything she tells me, she can find it in the bible. I'm not asking whether or not I should be one or not, Im just asking what everyone else thinks about them.

If we want to make this world a better place to live, the first thing we have to do is have confidence that we can. Some Christians dont think we can because if they did, they wouldn't be asking god to help.

I work in a convenience store and we sell different kinds of corndogs. We have several Spanish speaking customers that I can somewhat communicate with them, but I don't know how to say corndog. I have asked a couple of them and they don't know either. Can someone that really knows please help?
