If you feel that you have to ask that question, you probably know that you've interfered already.... But sometimes when it comes to ones we love, we can't help it. We would rather take the chance on them being mad at us for a while when in fact it might help that person with other life issues if they learn from their own mistakes.... So it's hard to know for sure when interfering is the right thing to do, all I can say is follow your gut!!

when they are no longer interested in your opinion...and if they make a comment you KNOW better of, then you are interferring because by this time, they are speaking only to appease you.

When you find urself always telling them wat to do and not wat to do, objecting to certain decisions they make and basically trying to control their life. If it is obvious to u that they are uncomfortable with sharing certain details with u then leave it alone do not push the issue cause that will turn them off. Try to be more supportive and give ur opinion only when asked. If they want u to know something they'll tell u and if they want ur perspective they'll ask so try to be more understanding and always put urself in that person's shoes whenever u find urself wanting to interfere.

One way to tell is when you sit in judgment of every decision they make
2) criticize every decision they make without your input like yours is the only opinion that counts.

when they tell you...
actually you have to be super perceptive to notice it, but sometimes we exaggerate and think the guy/girl despises you when it's the other way around... so ask, just like that.
