Technically, the White race is the majority race, because of institutional racism and the fact that most government agencies are run from a white perspective. Speaking in numbers however, Hispanics are quickly becoming the racial majority in our country.

Caucasian (82%). This includes most Hispanics, who are the Nation's largest ethnic (not racial) minority. The only reason why they frequently get counted separately from other whites is to keep track of immigration trends. That probably leads many people to think that there is such thing as a "Latino" race but there isn't. (Also, it's become "hip" to identify as nonwhite!)
In any case, the US isn't really becoming less white, strictly speaking, but the ethnic balance is gradually shifting from non-Hispanic white (or "Anglo") to Hispanic.

Whites are the majority.

Hispanics/Latinos are the fastest growing minority group and are either currently or going to very soon going to outnumber African Americans.

Causation. Hispanics are considered causation. And we all know there are a million of them, or maybe more.
