I read Muslims say the New Testament is corrupted, but then they also say that Christians have lost the way: Jesus said "I am the way, the truth and the life": notice the I AM there. So how have Christians lost the way, and Why would God allow his word to be corrupted; or do you mean that it is misinterpreted, so much of it is clear that it could not be misinterpreted. There is large agreement between Jews and Christians on the Old Testament, is this also true for Muslims; I think it is because a Muslim asked me if I read the book Ezekiel, so I went back and re-read it. And I am sure they believe in the accuracy of Genesis because much of it is copied out in the Quran, even more detail is given on some stories of Genesis, which may be inaccurate details.

Solution: we need to see how much we agree at least. There are many misunderstanding on ethical values. I agree for instance that it is wrong to make an image of the prophets, or anything; but not all Christians understand that

I believe the content of New Testament is the revelations from Allah to us

Revelation 22:7,10,13,19
“Behold, I come quickly. Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”
He said to me, “Don’t seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand"
"I am the Alef and the Tav, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End."
"If anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, may God take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book. "
For Christians, Don't you ever doubt the Revelation of Allah written in your Bible eventhough you are insulted for trusting it.

I think the big question is whether you believe in the existence of Christ and his teachings. I think that the foundation of Judiaism and Islam is based in the Old Testament, therefore it is not going to reflect the teachings of the New Testament. For example- the Old Testament, says "An Eye for an Eye", but Jesus teaches "Turn the other Cheek". Jesus' teachings are about forgiveness and salvation, where as the Old Testament took the hardline on sin.I think that's why Islam and Judiaism come accross as being so cold to Christians and why Christianity comes across as being so lax.

There is no doubt whatsoever the New Testament was corrupted.

One of the most brilliant men in history (Isaac Newton) discovered that the New Testament does not support the Trinity and was altered by unknown persons to make it seem that it did.

Unitarians are the result of the discovery the New Testament does not support the Jesus is God myth invented by the Catholic church.

This is how I look at it and I may be wrong.

The bible was not written during the time of Jesus. It has been written by many people 300 years later, some of who cannot be identified.
According to Islam, a holy book can only be brought by a holy prophet, and so, since the current bible has additions by others other than JEsus or his rep. it cannot be taken as completely accurate.

God is powerful enough not to allow His word to be corrupt, there is much evidence that the quran is false but many muslims have been born into darkness and they are blind to the truth, when the earnestly research the bible they see that the quran is a false book....see Galatians 1:8-9.....Pray for them in love, there are muslims who repent and see the light.

there are still some truth remain on the Bible but got mixed with false.

not only the new testament has corrupted but also the old testimony.

here is one of the evidence:
"How can you say, ‘We are wise, for we have the law of the LORD,’ when actually the lying pen of the scribes has handled it falsely?" Jeremiah 8:8

first John and others have no right to add their own words onto the Bible of God. also John has no right to allow eating pork after it was forbidean.

the agreement we can come with are this:

1st commandment: you shall not take other gods before Me

Jesus said: Listen o Isreal. the lord our God is one God

Jesus said: why you calling me good? and there is no good but God"

Corinthians 8:6
But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things

God is absolutly one.

Muslims believe the Bible is corrupted because the whole concept of God has been changed, and the advent of the Holy Prophet is being modified, and we still quote some verse from it because we find some of it still contains the advents of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, if anyone of you wish to know the verses they just have to visit http://www.answering-christianity.com/open_challenge.htm

i think that the muslims think that the new teastament is corrupt becaause they take verses out of cotext and change the meaning. My grandpa has done a lot of studying and many times he finds flaws and quotes that are wrong in the quarn if you read the bible you will not find one thing wrong everthing thst God said would happen did happen. everything that is in the Bible is true no verse contradicts another

So...all Muslims said this?

Perhaps they believe that many so-called Christians have drifted away from the teachings of Jesus (which is very true).
