I had parked between two meters and put money in the one closest to my car. Turns out they checked the meter further away from the car and when I got back I had 30 mins left and a 20 dollar parking ticket. And also one for no front tag! Which was lame. But whatever. I'm moving to Florida tomorrow and this happend at a school i'm no longer attending. What would happen if they didn't get payed? What happends...hypothetically...?

Do these people go to hell?

Here is the scenario: You have a group of people who have lived and died without ever even hearing about Christ (ie. they live on a completely isolated island). Their only sin is this (that they have not looked to Jesus for salvation). Otherwise, they live a perfectly peaceful and morally sound manner. Will they be condemned to hell because they have not followed the one true path to heaven? Of course, they have never had any exposure in their lives to the idea of Christ.

some ignorant guy told me that the french in canada don't deserve any special rights from the government because they lost the war on the plains of abraham. I feel that they do deserve rights because canada would not be what it is if it wern't for the french. The french made huge contributions to this country including the fur trade. In addition, upper canada back than is quebec. the french have so much history that is, the early history of this country especially with the native peoples. now so what do you think about these statements? I am willing to see arguments on both sides so as long as they are civil and logical assertions.

I Hear alot of Religious people say that the bible is 100% true but how can you prove that? It's a matter of faith believing that the message that you are being taught is real. Also no original copy of the bible exists, so how can something be true without there being proof....I know alot of people are gonna say that if its the word of god it has to be true but don't you think that people of other religions think that what they read is true....and what can you do to disprove any of them? If true faith comes from within and people use that as a basis of thinking something is real...then how can any book or religion be wrong as long as someone has complete faith in it.

I keep hearing testosterone makes men more aggressive and commit more crimes and sins. Is this really always true? Sure, testosterone and a bad environment are a bad mix, but aren't there cases of men with high testosterone levels that aren't like that when raised in a good environment? I doubt testosterone is the only factor. And how does testosterone "make" men commit more crimes? It may make them more moody and angry but that still shouldn't make them do it, it should just make the impulses a bit harder to control. It's still their choice.
On another note, it really disturbs me that a lot of people think men can't be both masculine and virtuous, and that being virtuous can only mean he's an effeminate "sissy". I have known a substantial amount of cases of men who were both masculine and virtuous, and I thought they were all taken...until I met my fiance :-)
