I keep hearing testosterone makes men more aggressive and commit more crimes and sins. Is this really always true? Sure, testosterone and a bad environment are a bad mix, but aren't there cases of men with high testosterone levels that aren't like that when raised in a good environment? I doubt testosterone is the only factor. And how does testosterone "make" men commit more crimes? It may make them more moody and angry but that still shouldn't make them do it, it should just make the impulses a bit harder to control. It's still their choice.
On another note, it really disturbs me that a lot of people think men can't be both masculine and virtuous, and that being virtuous can only mean he's an effeminate "sissy". I have known a substantial amount of cases of men who were both masculine and virtuous, and I thought they were all taken...until I met my fiance :-)

Yep. A lot of this has to do with feminist propoganda, but yet men themselves use it as an excuse. It's like racist affirmative action except gender based ("please lower our standards because we're inferior)

As you must know, testosterome is the hormone that gives men the ability to grow at the rate they do. Both in stature and in muscularity.

At the same time, though, testosterome can act like an adreniline. Testosterome gives a man an energy, boldness, and aggression that can be overwhelming. Especially, when paired with addrelinine.

Nonetheless, a proper upbringing can greatly strengthen a man's ability to act proper no matter what. The problem is, now a days, parents look for any excuse to exempt themselves from raising their children properly.

No, testosterone doesn't inhibit the ability for a guy to control himself or his impulses. Any guy who uses testosterone as his excuse for losing control or making a bad judgement call is the one who is a "sissy" for not having the willpower to be able to say to himself "No, I am incharge of me!" and controlling himself.

We all lose controll at times, however, it's emotions that trigger different effects within the body. When completely jacked on adrenaline, your body will enter a stage called "Fight or Flight". In this stage, your mind will decide to do one of two things, either make you run in terror, or fight tooth and nail. In either stage, it is hard to think rationally about anything. Your mind will let you stop running, or stop fighting, when the threat is eliminated. And no, that doesn't mean killing the poor thing for people who are reading this thinking they now have an excuse to kill someone. It means fighting to the point where the thing you are fighting gives up and doesn't threaten you anymore. And when it deals with the "Flight" part, it means running to the point where you are no longer in any danger.
It is a persons choice what they do, always, always, always. And it will always be that way, never forget.

VIRTUE is between his ears.
Testosterone does make a person have more vitality,& does help one have a sex drive.
CRIME again that is a decision made by the person.
I think these "IDEAS" are part of the Men Bashing that is so common now. I also think it is giving many a distorted view on Men & their roles in society ;Marraige, Fatherhood, Spouses etc.

Women do not function well with out Testosterone either.
