He gave you his number(hopefully not a dud) so obviously he wants you to call him. If would not have given it to you if he didn't want you to. Call him even if its for a chat or you could ask him to go out somewhere just don't take too long though as he might think your not interested.

the best way to find out is either wait until u see him a next time and if he ask u why u didn't call then u know just maybe he's interested. But how come you didn't give him your number? maybe if you did and he was interested then he would approach you first then you would sorta know how he feels about the whole situation

If I gave you my number I would call I am an honest person. If I was not interested in you, and not to hurt your feelings I would say I don't really share my number with anyone. Above I meant it the other way around. As a guy call him ASAP, he will like that.

You never know until you actually attempt to call the number. I have called later the same day or even wait a week or 2. Depends on how interested "YOU" are, after all they did give you their number.

I would wait 48 hours or maybe a little longer. Don't get your expectations up until you have had a chance to meet him socialy. Be casual and find out what he is interested in and try to identify with his interests.

You have been very forward and he may take you for granted and think you are easy. Remember why buy the cow if you are gettin the milk for free!

Honey - if you are really interested in him RING him now!! Don't be too pushy if he doesn't answer but lets it go to voicemail. Leave a nice, short message leaving your number again. IF he doesn't get back to you within 3 days - he won't! I have been dating for nearly 20 years before I got married 18months ago - so I sort of know what I talking about. If he doesn't reply - MOVE ON!!

congratulations on taking charge and approaching the man. i hope he appreciates it.

secondly, it's unfortunate that people give their numbers even when they're not interested because "they don't want to hurt anyones feelings." I'd think that's worse. isn't it better to find a polite way to exit and keep your number?

how long do you wait? one day, perhaps. two is probably better, if the second day is Wednesday.

good luck.

I agree with big_dan. If he gave you his correct number then he is interested and you can call him anytime. Just don't call too often and make sure you call for a reason (not just to talk about nothing, I hate it when chicks do that).
