I have a problem...I figured out that I might be a bisexual male. Meaning I am equally attracted to both males and females the same way. I want to be straight. I know if my family would find out it would be devastating. I am in major denial because I believe being gay is wrong, and not the way to lead life. I want to be straight and live life a straight man. How can I keep the urges in me, and how can I stay straight?

You are not saved just because you accepted Jesus as your savior. Jesus did not save us on the cross, but redeemed us so when can have a chance to be saved. We have to to earn the grace of God. We will only know if we are saved after death.

You cannot be saved if you continue commiting serious sin. The Bible does not teach "once saved always saved." :

Romans 6:15-16 says that sin leads to death

Matthew 5:27-30 Jesus does not discharge us from the moral law! There is consequence for sinning!

Matthew 10:22 "You will be hated by all because of my name, but whoever endures to the end will be saved."

Hebrews 12:1 "Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us rid ourselves of every burden and sin that clings to us and persevere in running the race that lies before us."

If it was to the father, then the father and Jesus are not one, since one is worshipping the other, in other words, Jesus is the father's slave, since Only Slaves Worship and pray to God, don't you agree?

Afterall, 700 years ago people believed that the world was flat and any other belief was blasphemy period.I have not found where it says the world is flat in the Bible, but that is what they believed and any science that would prove otherwise was blasphemy.

In fact, most science then was considered sorcery and witchcraft and anyone found practicing science could be found guilty of such things and burned at the stake.Back then you did not question the church!

Why now is there a similiar problem with some on accepting at least some of the science involving evolution? Why are there those who refuse to educate themselves on biology, chemistry, carbon dating, geology, astrology, and all the other scientific and all the other evidential proof before making assumptions that suggest that science is wrong?

Just like when the world was believed to be flat, this is the same kind of argument. So where in the Bible does it say science is wrong?

evidence he had it was a vital step in human evolution as people where now wondering about the universe and our massive curiosity which separates us from most other animals, was born. The next step now that we face in human evolution is to abandon religion and concentrate what we know to be true and can prove with evidence and not to be held back by the fear of upsetting a god. So are you going to realise the truth and move onto the next step of human evolution or are you just going to be out competed and die off like the theists. It's survival of the fittest and we have the advantage as we have the facts so the time has come evolve and realise the truth or will you die off with the theists holding on to unprovable ridiculous beliefs in a world of facts?

We all live in sin. Yes? But we can be saved. I've heard over and over again that being gay is a sin. And gay's will go to hell. What about people who have commmited adultery? What about people who have lied? All of us has sinned and all of us have broken one of the 10 Commandments (don't even try to argue that you haven't).Adultery is a sin. Apparently being gay is a sin. If gays are going to hell, is wrong to assume that all adulterers and liars are going to hell along with anyone who has ever disobeyed there parents? If being gay is a "constant sin" than why isn't adultery. Or lying? Or watching television?

If an ant doesn't understand the universe, we say no wonder, it's just an ant. If a cow doesn't udderstand the universe, we say no wonder it's just a cow. If a Christian doesn't understand the universe, he is amazed and says that there must be a god, and that explains everything. Why can't he just realise that we are not very important creatures who don't understand much at all?

DON'T TRY TO DENY IT!!!!. In the majority of cases reported, the white man is usually racist towards blacks, asians and anyone else who is not white (even people of an oriental background). Sometimes it's the other way round, but not as often. WHITE PEOPLE ARE THE MAIN CULPRITS

Every religious text must be interpreted by a humans. If God exists and there is an afterlife, only then can anyone be sure if he wrote any of the books and what his meaning was in the book.

Every religion has violent followers but not every religion has people who do violence from an interpretative belief that their religion requires them to do violence.

Today only Islam has example of people murdering as a direct consequence of a violent interrpretation of the Quran. We are all familiar with terrorist claims of authority to murder from various citations in the Quran but it you can also see the clear linkage by noting how much violence muslims do while yelling praises to their God (Alluah Akbar!!! booom).

When everyone else especially the Dutch know it's pronounced with a CH like in Scottish loch, which is soft, not like in lock. And a G in dutch is pronounced like an H. I get why you have different pronunciation for words from British English, that's just normal divergence of language. Do you also pronounce Scottish surnames the way you read them, like the English do ? - such as Dalziel (should be pronounced Dee-yell), Menzies (should be pronounced Ming-iss), Lamont (should have stress on first syllable).

I think it is just plain rude.

I don't go around telling people they believe in the wrong thing. So, they shouldn't try to force their beliefs on other people. I respect other people's right to believe in what they choose to believe.

So, why can't they do the same?

I'm not talking about everyone...just some people.
