Why is it that white people are always racist to black and other people of colour?

DON'T TRY TO DENY IT!!!!. In the majority of cases reported, the white man is usually racist towards blacks, asians and anyone else who is not white (even people of an oriental background). Sometimes it's the other way round, but not as often. WHITE PEOPLE ARE THE MAIN CULPRITS

I'm not saying that other races are not racist. I'm just reminding of the hell blacks went through during the slave trade and and then the civil rights movement. White people have been trying to oppress them for centuries

The majority beats on the minority. Depends on where you are, but I assure you, Asians beat up on other people, Japanese are prejudiced against white and black, and blacks surely think whites are a piece of work. Honky is not a compliment, no?

I don't agree with you at all. Certainly not round here anyway. I am not racist, I know a few white people who are but I tend to find the non-whites will completely avoid white people because they don't want to asssociate with them. I know at college, I had one asian friend, She was nice but she never spoke to any none asian when she was with her group of asian friends, they would seem very rude towards other people. And while I was at school, there was a racist asian who claimed everyone else was racist because they didn't like him but the truth was that he was a bully, that;s why people didn't like him. People liked his brother. Where you live it may usually be white against black but your question itself says always. That is not a fair thing to say. I think some non-whites believe whites are racist because they don't like what they say or because the non-whites seem to think they shuold have all the rights and get away with everything by claiming racism. I have never seen anyone try to stop people celebrating Diwali in England, yet people are told it is racist to fly the St. George flag. As for the cases REPORTED, that is the thing isn't it? White people don't tend to report racism. They know nothing will happen. If a non-white person reports racism, they can report racism again if their case is not dealt with.
Different groups have been opressed by all sorts of other groups. It isn't just black against white and I don't see the opression thing applies so much now.

You shouldn't stereotype all white people. That also counts as racism in my view. I think what your saying could be right but on the other hand maybe asian or black people are less obvious about their views on white people. I think we should all keep an open mind on race and colour but the funny thing is even though white people may be racist towards brown and black people, they try to get a tan in summer and get as brown as they can. I find that so stupid.

Your right that is often seems the case, but don't label us all like that, I hate all racist, but I have a job where I deal with a large number of black lads, and is you say anything to them the first word that comes out of their mouth is you a racist, they are only to keen to jump on the band waggon and call white people racist, and do you know one of the reasons, because they have been told NO, they can't have something, or they can't do something. One other thing the ethnic minority are often the first ones to be looked after, and in a lot of cases never seen to do wrong, how do I know this, well that's another story.

Im white and I have friends of all races so dont brand us all racists. i agree that there are a lot of white people that are racists but so are lots of black/asian/whatever people too. i think that young people today dont really give a toss about race - its just the older people among us all that do. no one cares what colour people are anymore (except a small minority of people). White people are too easily blamed and accused of being racist. Around here people of other colours are far too quick to hold the race card. Situations such as a white person being better qualified and given a job. They then say that they weren't employed because they were asian. A load of rubbish if you ask me.

"Dont try to deny it", well i dont think 99.9% of white people would because we know WE ARE NOT RACIST, yes racism exists but it is very much oriented by people of colour also, or have you never heard people like Abu Hamza and Osama bin laden speak? ...Because that's the way it happens, most of the time. However, I don't really know what you're asking, so I'm not sure. Racists of other colors/ethnicities are that way because they can always produce a historical reason for their hate.
