A parish priest is a servant of the people of the parish. The local bishop is the servant of the priest and the people. The pope is the servant of all.

During Mass, the priest may be assisted by another priest, a deacon, and/or alter servers.

A pastor is looked up to as the spiritual "father" of the congregation.

With love in Christ.
