You are correct the bible doesn't say that they will go to hell... That is something that people have put to it... But it does say that you will be killed and not go to heaven.

If you read the bible "god" destroied a city because of the gay thing... But it never particularly said where they where going just that they wouldn't be allowed into heaven... Most passages don't even go that far... What people need to do is instead of relying upon someone else to read the bible and interpet it they need to read it for themselves and they will find that they do not always agree with what is being preached to them...

Even in the passages that where listed the only true mention of where they go is that they will not be in his kingdom... Its just interpeted that hell is the only otherplace to go...

But in them all it says more that man will judge you and kill you. But there are a few references to "god" doing it... the one mentioned before he told a man and his wife to leave and he brought a massave flood to destroy the city... But that I can recall that is the only ssuch story in the bible...

But then again I have only read the bible 4 times and that was a long time ago. Please read it for yourself and then you will be able to make a better corralation.

---The Bible does say that gay people are going to hell. Anyone who doesn't have enternal life goes to hell. This is what the Bible says in Revelation 21:8: "But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur."
---Gay people are sexually immoral. This is one of the groups of people listed here.
---I am not saying that we should kill gay people today, but try to convince them to change their actions.
---To prove the the Bible says that gay people are sexually immoral, God made the law in Leviticus 20:13, "if a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads."

First, let me ask you if the following are sins...
fornication?
idolatry?
adultery?
theft?
coveting?
drunkeness?
reviling?
extortion?

Would you say "yes"? Then you would be right. For these are condemned elsewhere as well. So now you have to deal with 1 Corinthians 6:8-10

"Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God."

So, yes, the Bible makes it plain that it is indeed sin, and in the company of some pretty hefty ones at that. But just make sure you understand that God loves the individual, however, their behavior and life choice will lead them into bondage that will harden their hearts to God's eternal salvation. Because Homosexuality involves so much emotional investment, it is almost impossible to tell the them the truth without being labeled with very harsh epithets.

Remember, the sin of homosexuality is no blacker than my sin. And if the Christian truly hated homosexuals, they would keep the message of salvation to themselves, not try to change them, and let them go on their merry way to destruction. But because we care, we take the slings and arrows of 90% of the media and public to speak the truth. Hopefully with love and salt.

The Bible states that homosexuality is behavioral, for Paul states that many of the new believers had been delivered from homosexuality in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11,

"Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites... will inherit the kingdom of God. And SUCH WERE SOME OF YOU. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God."

I think that people have to take in mind that the Bible was written many years ago obviously. It is not as if we have ritual lamb sacrifices before church services now is it? Also, I don't believe that God loves his children that are gay any less than he loves those that are straight. Why would he send them to hell before the people who commit adultery and then repent ?Besides, for the people who are so obsessed with that, God doesn't like us to decide who will go to heaven for him. He can do it just fine without our help.

true Xtians wouldnt say that. The Bbible teaches love. But I remember reading that (in Matthew) that God doesn't like homosexuality, because it's an abominination. What? Who asked God, and clearly, If god is love then why does she hate? That part, is what I like to call data w/o dates. the bible condones a lot of things: Rape (Lot had his daughters gangraped to save his *** whle the angels did nothing), Sex slavery (some men offered their wives to men as concubines), Homophobia (the reason Jamaicans hate gays, is becaise they believe God hates em, too), chauvinism (this part was historical). Remember, the bible was written by men. Just like the game telephone, things get distorted. So even if God said gays wern't natural, Matthew, who wasn't used to seeing gays is going to have an emotional tie into it, rewtiting it as something more personal. So what you want, just dont hurt anyone!

it say it but people r goin 2 do what they please regardless if the bible speaks against it or not for example: in genesis god states that the husband shall rule over the wife since eve ate the fruit. also in timothy it states that women shouldnt teach nor have authority over man but how many women would follow them examples.

homos werent codemn untill the kjv came out. before the kjv there were no references 2 homos being sent 2 hell. king james didnt like homos n many biblical scholars believe he added that part in the bible. since there were no references before the kjv i have 2 agree wit them but most christian wont cause they feel that the kjv is the most accurate even though some of the stuff that is mention in the kjv differs from the orignal hebrew or greek texts

I would find christians quoting their bible to promote ignorance and bigotry quite humorous if it weren't so scary and dangerous. For all of you christians out there - the bible you're quoting today does not even begin to resemble the original Hebrew version. Homosexuality is not even MENTIONED in it! Before you embrace your brand of mythology that has resulted in the deaths of millions of human beings over the centuries, and the bigotry and hatred that it promotes today, why don't you do a little research into the crap you've been brainwashed to believe.

Lev 18:22 shows what the offense is. Going to hell is a separate subject. In the western world parents teach their children that "bad people go to hell when they die." This is a fable. For the truth of the matter request the booklet, Hell Is A Lie! from 8v@8v.com. It's free.

the bible says they will not enter into the gates of Heaven, so therefore the opposite of Heaven is hell. They donot alow homosexuals,idolotors,adulteres,gluttons... if you truly repent your ways you can change & yes leaving the former in the past you can have a chance to go into the presence of God, but as long as you keep the lifestyle that he forbids you will not. it is not our saying, but the bible .
