I have a problem...I figured out that I might be a bisexual male. Meaning I am equally attracted to both males and females the same way. I want to be straight. I know if my family would find out it would be devastating. I am in major denial because I believe being gay is wrong, and not the way to lead life. I want to be straight and live life a straight man. How can I keep the urges in me, and how can I stay straight?

Well first of all Mike, how sure are you that you are bisexual? And although I used to feel the same as you in that belief being gay is wrong, and not the way to lead life. Although I personally would not want to choose to be this way I don't have a problem being friends with a bi person. You sometimes can't help the urges in you..as to the question why you might feel this way..it can never be answered, and if it can you must look deep inside of you.. Being gay or bi sexual does not make you any less of a person and if you are you cannot change that. Instead of repressing your feelings try opening up with close people around you, start off slow with that process. If you really want to be str8 try counseling or therapy it may help.

Dude, your Bi. Accept it. You're obviously not in denial, because you've already said you have the urges to see both men and women. You can marry a woman, and hate it. Why put yourself through that? You should see a psychiatrist. You need the help of a professional, not lay people. You also need to learn no one wants to be gay/bi on purpose. It's something they can't help. Life would be easier on them to be straight, but every life has a few bumps along the road. You need to be straight with yourself, and move on. If it's with a woman, fine, if it's a man, fine. Make yourself happy. You don't want to be a 62 yr. old man, still struggling with this.

You can't fight nature, man. If you're meant to be bi, the worst thing you can do is deny it. There's nothing wrong whatsoever with being gay. Gays don't harm anybody just because they are gays. Be happy.

Well, you could ask the same question several different times and see if that helps.

if you want to stay strait, walk up to the biggest, meanest, most intolerant hetero sexual man you can find and ask him to make love to you. after that you won't do it again.
