for some bizarre and unexplainable reason a great many people believe christian mythology to be true. It seems obvious to me that the writers of genesis for example where writing an allegorical story not to be taken literally. My question is, the old religions we now call mythology, were they regarded as mythology and allegories at the time of their popularity, or did people believe them to be true?

new in the institution, had an office of my own where I came from but now in a pool; have tried to be friendly; people went behind my back to complain that I was noisy both on phone and talking to them. They seem to enjoy my company but now this; i feel so betrayed, what do i do?

Go through this link and tell em wut you think about islam. anyway someone wrote a statement that kuran is so so so looong just because it is not true. Actually islam @ muslim believe in 25 prophets ( including jesus) and that's why it is so long. just to tell the story about all of em. Back to the topic, here is the link;

I keep hearing 'rule of law' among christian nations.
Is 'Rule of Law' our problem, rather than the solution?

Have we not learned law is corruptible, but grace incorruptible?
Have we not learned law and grace are "contrary" things;
And contrary things only mix to make an oxyMORON?
Hence biblical conclusion: Grace with you all. Amen.

Many Christians say: just forgiven, not perfect.
Bible says: not just forgiven, but made perfect;
And perfected by "Christ": "the end of the law".

Many Christians say we need law to know sin;
and go about law imputing sin, for the hell of it.
Bible says law imputes sin, which imputes death;
So, to have eternal life, make law dead testator.
For all perish by using of ordinances: Col 2:20-22.

Not to mention evidence makes it "evident"
no man justified by the law in God's sight.

Many Christians say law leads them to Christ.
Bible says the law leads them to destruction;
as if a schoolmaster that fails every student.

Why do ppl hate turkish ppl so much?
i wanna find out once and for all what turks have done to make ppl hate them...especially the british ppl, coz ive got nothing but racist comments from them most my life and its a fact that they dont like turks and i really hate racism...... WHY HATE??

I want to be extremely bilingual but it has been so difficult to pick up other languages that I am getting discouraged. This is not something I am expecting to happen overnight and I have put in a couple of years.
