All species evolve in different ways. Even dogs and cats have evolved, they have just evolved in different ways because of their bone structure.
For humans to evolve and get wings, we would need an entirely different bone structure.. bird bones are very porous and allow them to fly with all of their weight.. We evolve in different ways.. our life span has lengthened and we have learned more about the world around us.
Humans will NEVER naturally grow wings by evolution. Only by mutation, maybe way off in the future.

Evolution occurs as species adapt to their environment. Homo sapiens is already the most adaptable species, not because of any physical attribute (we're small, slow, and weak compared to most of the world's predators) but because of the way we think.
Species that evolve wings, or gills, or compound eyes, do so because these adaptations provide a survival advantage. We don't need such advantages. Not yet, anyway.

You evolve to overcome something that is inhibitting the propogation of the species. As we'll never need wings, because we invention aviation, there'll be no need for wings - same as we don't need gills because we have no need to live in the sea because we have evolved and adapted to living on the land.

We evolved better brains and figured out how to fly without wings.

We are no longer evolving. Safety programs and laws to protect the stupid, will forever stifle any further evolution. The societal costructs now in place, allow the stupid and physically inferior to reproduce. Often at rates much higher than the physically and mentally superior. Once upon a time idiots died at younger ages, and therfore we were spared their off-spring.

Because we don't need to. Our brains and thinking have evolved so that we can create new things to do the things we want. It might mean that we eventually invent everything and people become redundant, therefore may start devolving. I think this may already be happening in some places!

Wings would serve no purpose for us evolutionarily and even if they did evolve, they would be useless as human bones are too dense, eventually they would become vestigial and useless. The ostrich has wings and they are almost useless for anything except balance.

We don't need wings. Many people have ascended without wings. The problem is that every body brainwashed and conditioned our minds that we can not fly, so it happend as we believed. By the way, I do not believe in Darwin's theory, sorry.

we haven't had a need to. and evolution is a VERY slow process, its possible that we may grow wings over the next million or two years, who knows? That is if we're still around of course (not likely).

Because we have no natural need to fly to escape predators or catch food. We're more likely to evolve to look like Jabba the Hutt the way we are all becoming so lazy and fat :)
