I understand what it means but why?
I know someone who whenever we are going somewhere or have to meet someone invariably says “Good. We’re in good shape” I had never heard anyone say that before. Is it common? Who uses it? Where? Oh, just in case it matters .. .English is only my 3rd language ...

I like chicks and find them attractive however last week my cousin forced me to lick and smell his dirty jock-strap. At first I was pissed and thought it was gross until I realized I was sprouting wood and that I kinda liked the way it tasted and smelled. Is this wrong and does it make me queer or something?

My daughter just had her 4th birthday and I need to send out Thank-you cards. The only kind the store had were blank ones, I dont know what gifts came from who. Does anyone have any ideas? I want something thats cute but I just cant think of anything.

This has always puzzled me. For example one of the ten commandments, Exodus 20:5:


Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me

Also why do people think that a "Y" sound in Hebrew should be pronounced with a "J" sound in English like Jerusalem, Joseph and Joshua. So in Hebrew is it pronounced Yerusalem?

i always hear people say things like "god is punishing us" or "god is angry at us" whenever there are natural disasters. so why would you worship and embrace something that would punish us with death? do you worship out of fear? i hear people say "god loves us", but never once have i ever heard anyone say "i love god." (and ive been to many church sermons, funerals, weddings, and coummunions, despite me being an athiest. my family is catholic) i dont read the bible, so dont tell me to.
