We are animals that have spirituality and computers. We don't need old stories from before we could see earth from space.

Your statement could be true, but you'll need to work on your argument. What if it wasn't true that we're animals? What if we really did each possess a spark of divinity, either granted by God or unique to humans some other way? If humans were fundamentally different from animals, we could concievably need the old stories about gods and magic, since their relevance would not diminish with age and technology, as neither of which would impact our innate human divinity. Similarly, seeing the earth from space might indeed prove human superiority instead of diminish it; we're the first and only being capable of such magnificent works. However, I don't see the "earth-from-space" thing as important at all.
But yeah, it could be true. Doesn't make it true though.

I wish humans were more like animals because if we were we wouldnt go around killing for sport or destroying the planet with all of our crap. Animals have a way of living with the planet and we humans have a way of living against it. Yea I have to admit that alot of those old stories are not the best to have around since alot of bad has come from people taking them seriously. But everyone has the right to write and to read what they want and to believe in. Some people need to have something to believe in or they become lost and they find comfort in reading these old stories no matter how far fetched they are. I have to admit I think whoever it was who wrote all of these stories had to of been high as you know what and not on the holy spirit as some people will say or is that what they called Acid or maybe cronic in those days. One thing that hasnt changed since way back when those old stories were written is people like to get drunk.
