I saw on t.v. this government-type commercial saying that it's safer to sit on your couch smoking weed. Now are they actually saying that we whould smoke weed; because most all of the time when the gov says that something is "safer" they're ordering us to do it [wear seat-belts, wear helmets, don't smoke here., put your kids in a booster seat, give your kids mercury-laden vaccines]
Thank god they're giving up the preaching "Oh but you'll fry your brain and get a whole bunch of your friends killed and start using hard drugs!" (as if the effects of caffeine weren't hard enough) (at last it'sa decent anti-drug commercial!!!)
(Now lets see if they can turn on the REAL hard drugs - the "prescription" drugs that kick you in the HEAD when you try to get off of them.)
(Are they morons? It's like they're talking down to us.)

(Sorry, did not mean to be offending to any real morons out there - I'm sure you're not at all bad.)

Does it somehow have something to do with social class? The fact that the middle classes supposedly being more cerebral identify with a more literate form of stimulation, the written word and regard this as a erotica but look down upon the working man's visual stimulation and judge this to be mere pornography.

if you look at their pictures, they are ugly as hell. I kinna feel sorry for them, and it seems like people don't want to make a cure for this problem. They have psychological disorders, and people don't seem to care about that.

It seems that this guy is totally messed up - alcoholic, pedophiliac, closeted gay, Catholic molestation victim and compulsive liar.

So is it any wonder that gay rights activists have always considered the "family values" campaign to be just a bunch of thinly disguised homophobia.

So will we continue to have more Mark Foleys if we neglect acceptance of gays in society?

Last Sunday my family had a barbecue and invited a lot of family and friends over. There were several "boys" there. When I say "boys" I mean of all ages from my little brother, some other male children, my boyfriend Jamie, all the way through my dad, two adult men who came with their wives and children, and my two grandfathers. They were all hypnotized by a baseball game and at different times were yelling inapproriately at the tv. Now Jamie and I will often share romantic poetry and stories together. Yet he was yelling too with the best of them Sometimes I get the urge to sit on his lap and he has a strange physical reaction when I do that. My parents and his mom dont like that too much because they think it could lead to other things but we usually are well supervised. Anyway I tried that with him while they were all watching the game because there was no seat for me and he got this very disturbed look on his face. My dad suggested that they were enjoying the game and leave

No religion is free of flaws. Christianity and Hinduism aren't free of conservative extremists either. I think Muslim extremists are giving Islam a bad name and the people need to speak up against them. Not people from other parts of society BUT the people of their own religion.

Am I right in assuming that Islamic liberalists have accepted defeat to extremists and that they need to speak up?
