It's always the way, isn't it? When I was young I was a rebel without a cause. Now I have a cause, I'm running out of energy to rebel, and nobody listens to me anyway...Such is the cycle of life, I guess. Might have to start being a ragged-trousered philanthropist instead, except I'm not sure I want to ruin a perfectly good pair of jeans...

Yes. I was a boy racer and then I had to take a driving course and advanced driving test because I worked for the government. Now I'm a safe driver - with a boy racers skills too! I also supported pirate radio and found myself poacher turned gamekeeper - working with the team that tried to catch them! But rebelling when you're young is part of growing up. But many young people have no role model they can ask for advice and so don't achieve as much in life as they could. If someone older offers you their experience and advice - at least listen to it. They are trying to save you making the same mistakes that they did and regretted later. I wish I was a teenager and know all the stuff I know now. Check out my website. It demonstrates what I mean. Lots of teenagers can do a website - they do pages on Myspace - same thing - but different! But with your own website you get lots of pages and the money from the advertising. On Myspace - the teens provide content - News International pocket the cash from the advertising! lol Even governments discriminate against teenagers and they don't even vote - let alone protest.

Hello, no I was not a rebel when I was younger....

As I become older I take more and more risks with my career and personal life. I believe to rebel is to expand your mind and to grow.

Each day I am a bit more rebellious!

I am a younger person and well, i would like to rebel againt my mum and dad but they scare me too much... C'mon- there in control of my life, and i don't want to ruin it by acting like a rebel and trying to act cool. I prefere to act like myself and not rebel againt my parents, just because everyone else is doing it!

I had multi-coloured hair several ear piercings and went to gay clubs(the only place we could get in to) worried about terrorist and the threat of nuclear bombs and listened to some depressing music, all at the age of 17.
That was 25 years ago and guess what my eldest kid is doing the same believing that she's"different".
Some things never change.
