if you look at their pictures, they are ugly as hell. I kinna feel sorry for them, and it seems like people don't want to make a cure for this problem. They have psychological disorders, and people don't seem to care about that.

In answer to your question, no, molesters are not generally ugly. "Otherwise kids would be repelled by them. Some may be unattractive, but most look perfectly normal. They have a whole routine they go through to gain the trust of a child, to gain their confidence and affection. Because some kids don't feel loved by their parent(s), they naturally go to the person who will make them feel good about themselves. Raise their self-esteem. Child-abusers have this down to a science, trust me. If parents give their kids plenty of love and attention, these evil people would be out of business overnight."
This is called grooming. It is done to obtain the trust of the child. Pedophiles do not research their victims, they do not know what the childs homelife is like until they start talking with them. As far as having a psycological problem, that is still up in the air. At present, there is NO treatment for a sociopath. That is why serial killers and pedos should NEVER be returned into society. In my opinion. I work with a group to catch online predetors. The site is listed below.

What is the reason behind any evil act? There are a whole lot of people who contort their brains trying to understand crime and then try to make excuses for criminal behavior. He was raised in a broken home or molested, or his mother abandoned him or he had a stunted childhood. Whatever. A hundred years ago in this country male relatives of a violated child hunted the pervert down and suspended him by the neck from the nearest tree limb. Most of them were abused as children too.

It's a little more complex than their ability or inability to get laid.

I think that there could be treatment for it.Pedophilia

is a huge worldwide condition. It's been going on since

we were swinging from vines in the jungle.

I think the real question is;"Why would we want to treat them?"

Shouldn't we be poking their eyes out with red hot skewers?

I just can't help it.Some molesters need to have their

bits' cut off , stuffed and sewn in their mouths for what

they have done.I wouldn't lump them all together though what they ALL do is equally horrible.

Now if you'll excuse me,I keep getting Im'ed from

somebody who wants to see a picture of me in my

LaCrosse uniform.Funny,I don't even play LaCrosse

and I certainly don't know who this "MAF54@AOL is

either!

I feel sorry for the perp and the victims. Child molesters are usually victims themselves and it turns out they continue on with a tramatic cycle. They find helpless victims being children and repeat the cycle. Education is the only hope that will stop that cycle. Educate your children to whats right and wrong touching and to tell everyone they see if they are being touched in a wrong way.

No ... molesters can look normal, handsome, or creepy. It isn't about sex, it's all about power. And it's really sad that they have to abuse a child to feel powerful. My cure would be to hang them by their balls, put them in a cell with someone that killed a child molester, and then give them the chair. Once they are dead, problem solved.

Are you saying we should kill all the ugly people? I think we'd run out of bullets first.

Like you said, they have a mental disorder, ugly is not a mental disorder. Even the fat slob down the street has a wife, if they're ugly and not getting laid, they're not trying.

Child molesters assualt (and murder) children because they are screwed up in the head, and because they can.
It is my firm believe that ALL sexual predators, once caught, should be placed together on an island, with no way off. Period. Then see who they molest.
The punishment should fit the crime.

Rarely is that the motivating factor. From what I can tell, it's usually a power issue or someone regressing to or being stuck in adolescence. It's a real serious problem that can only be addressed by asking serious questions.

makes you wish we could use clockwork orange rehab techniques on those people. I am a survivor of both incest and rape. I have no feelings of sympathy for them. If they are physically unattractive, its just a vague glI'mpse into the grotesque nature of they re hearts and mind. And im sick of people using the excuse about childhood. There is a choice, there is always a chioce.

It's possible I guess. I don't think I've ever seen an attractive paedophile.
They all have a creepy look about them...
Think about this positively, maybe their hideousness allows us to potentially catch on to them faster. Hopefully...
I know the next creep I see I'll keep an eye on!
