I saw on t.v. this government-type commercial saying that it's safer to sit on your couch smoking weed. Now are they actually saying that we whould smoke weed; because most all of the time when the gov says that something is "safer" they're ordering us to do it [wear seat-belts, wear helmets, don't smoke here., put your kids in a booster seat, give your kids mercury-laden vaccines]
Thank god they're giving up the preaching "Oh but you'll fry your brain and get a whole bunch of your friends killed and start using hard drugs!" (as if the effects of caffeine weren't hard enough) (at last it'sa decent anti-drug commercial!!!)
(Now lets see if they can turn on the REAL hard drugs - the "prescription" drugs that kick you in the HEAD when you try to get off of them.)
(Are they morons? It's like they're talking down to us.)

(Sorry, did not mean to be offending to any real morons out there - I'm sure you're not at all bad.)

As a moron-speaking for my self this is how I see it! You are quiet correct about all these commercials about legal drugs! Here in the U.S. A. I wish to God someone would take this crap off the airwaves! It only goes back to the fact that what is important here is MONEY! Oh don't suffer from this get this talk to your doctor (not the doctors fault). Oh you may need about 6-8 more drugs to counter act these side effects. Some drugs are necessary but this is getting to the point of being ridicules. GLAD YOU SPOKE UP ABOUT IT! I don't smoke pot either myself! I am at the point of realizing that I am going to have to take my health issues into my own hands (work with my doctor the best I can). I want to seek to do only that which is necessary.

They are a bit condescending in this area and so unrealistic. To me, all the ads do is ADVERTISE drugs. There are some people that won't do drugs, but then there are people that are drug addicts or that will become drug addicts and these ads teach them what kind of drugs there are. And addicts don't think about the consequences of the drugs, they think about the release from whatever form of pain they are in.

Peace.
