Power to do what? Power usually comes from the media - they control what people believe and the government generally speaking control the media. Unless you have a "free" press and that would of cours einclude free speech and blogging. but try blogging and if the government don't like what you say - you end up sued, arrested or shot in the head by the secret services. Power can be obtained however, limited power, simply becoming famous or infamous and you become a leader and other people follow. A psychologist made a speech in the 1960's :
"Turn on, tune in, drop out" is a counterculture phrase coined by Timothy Leary in the 1960s. It is an excerpt from a prepared speech he delivered at the opening of a press conference in New York City in September 1966. This phrase urged people to initiate cultural changes through the use of psychedelics and by detaching themselves from the existing conventions and hierarchies in society. The phrase was derided by conservative critics.
So Timothy Leary became infamous and gained power by just standing up and making a speech to a vulnerable audience. Hitler did that a lot too.
I just became infamous on the Internet doing crap like this! lol

Nip down to the True Power shop. I hear they are having a "2 for 1" offer this week. I would hurry `cos the queues are going to be long, G. Bush is signing autographs. Once you get inside look for boxes of "True Power", they can be found on the top shelf.......always slightly out of reach!

True power comes from demonstrating true love. He who loves much is blessed much. He who loves much is respected much. Unless you have the respect of other people you cannot be powerful. If Christ is not in you, then you cannot have love, and therefore respect. Tyranny never lasts and tyrants are always overthrown. Benevolent leaders are loved and respected by the masses, and they live long and rule long because they understand that power must be doled out with love.

Make your mind up!
Do you mean TURE or TRUE?
If it is TURE then you probably mean Kwame Ture who was a black millitant activist born in Trnidad and lived US and Africa till his death in 1998.
I think the term 'ture power' was used by his followers.

It depends on what you're looking to satisfy. I find true power is being happy with myself. I don't give a toss what anybody thinks of me and I try and do the right thing and that's enough for me to sleep well at night.

how about just trying to make urself more educated and kinder?
