I often get really distracted everytime I do homework. Every few minutes, I decide to read something on the internet or play games. Or if I'm not using the computer, I start to read a book. How can I stay more focused on my work so that I can finish it in less time?

(I give myself constant breaks- about once every 15 minutes for a drink and a little chat with my sister/relaxing for a while)

Dont try i'm loving and caring so are millions of people.
most people strive to be different only to end up being the same as another group of people. If you think you dont have a unique point then say so thats fine.

I don't consider myself to especially intelligent or talented, but I can usually work through most problems that come up - whether it's an equipment break down, a computer problem, or something else. Even if my solution isn't exactly procedure, I can almost always find a way to get done what needs to get done.

The thing that bothers me as a manager is that it's almost impossible to find employees who are able to do this. It's not like being a manager is the secret, because I have always been able to figure things out by looking at a manual or just working my way through the problem.

I'm just wondering if this ability to work through things is a natural talent that is difficult to teach or if there is a method for teaching people how to think their way through things. Often when I'm training or helping people I will set them on the right path and see if they can figure it out, but I usually have to give even more help.

I find it so frustrating because it's so easy for me.

Strange sort of disorder. Anyone know a name for it? This guy works for people for free, let's them pile on extra work for no charge. Always helping someone do something to the point where it seems to me is just being used. I asked him about it and he d=said he would feel guilty if he didn't help them. Dozens of people that just call him to help move furniture, fix their cars, do there yard work and he never has time for himself. Says he would feel guilty if someone called him to help overhaul there engine all day long for free and he said "no, I'm going to the lake today". it seems he would rather give up any and all personal enjoyment to simply 'be there for people', yet he is unhappy because he has nothing, no time for girlfriends or anything for himself.

My stomach is hurting & I have a research paper due on Tuesday, & I can't work on it right now because it's hurting too badly. & I gotta clean the house but can't.

Many people think there's no excuse for me to not be able to physically do something, even being in pain. They think that I should still be able to do the task.

Think about it this way, any 'idiot' (as long as they are fertile) can become a parent. Any low down, violent, abuser, child molester, no hoper........... I mean, as long as they can get themselves into that situation with another willing no hoper, they can produce offspring.
What hope does that child have of leading a happy & fulfilling life? What kind of person will that child become?

In an ideal world, should we all have to prove ourselves before we are allowed to bring other people on to this planet? Should we have to prove that we can be good parents to that child & not produce another product of a disfunctional family, for society to pick up the pieces for?
