Of course! I tend to not care so much along the lines of material things...but when it comes to my boyfriend I get very possessive and jealous. I think it's pretty normal not to want your significant other to be around the opposite sex very much...but the key is learning how to control it and only show jealousy at the proper times.

I used to. Not anymore. Now I just pretend to get jealous. If I don't at least pretend, it makes it look like I don't care at all.

Jealousy is useless, much like insecurity, self doubt, and depression. It is an emotion that only makes you weaker. My take is, if somebody in my life would rather devote their attention to someone other than me, there is no reason why I should bother devoting my attention to them.

But then, I'm a self-centered narcissist.

jealousy is a combination of the emotions fear and anger!

It is also a result of being insecure in one way or another. But in reality who is not insecure?

An example of someone who is not insecuere: Say you are in a relationship with some who is a ten in every way. Of course people will be drawn to them. With confidence you will conclude, of course people are going to be attracted to them, I am because they are such an amazing person! I am just grateful to have the opportunity to spend time with this person.

Insecurity speaks out of fear of losing them are being less in some way. With an angry and defensive voice
But the reality of it is, Jealousy is a very human emotion!

It depands on the guy. If he is idle and worthless but very successful, I would get jealous easily But if somebody got anything by his hardwork, He will become my ideal.

yes, I get jealous constantly. I feel like the world has essentially deprived me of something, so everyone's happiness feels like a personal reproach to me. Sucks.
