How to stay more on task?

I often get really distracted everytime I do homework. Every few minutes, I decide to read something on the internet or play games. Or if I'm not using the computer, I start to read a book. How can I stay more focused on my work so that I can finish it in less time?

(I give myself constant breaks- about once every 15 minutes for a drink and a little chat with my sister/relaxing for a while)

try to be in a comfortable place and have minimun stuff arround you. The only way you wil achive concentration is to REALLY WANT IT!!

Firstly, stop giving yourself so many breaks! Every 15 minutes is too much - you need more time than that to get down to something and finish your work.

Also, you say you 'decide' to read something on the internet or play games. All you have to do is decide NOT to do these things and do your homework instead. Think of the reward of finishing your work so you can do anything you want without feeling guilty - the more you procrastinate, the more time you will spend feeilng guilty. Just get your work over with.

There are several ways. The hardest is to get rid of all the distractions and of course that is out of the question. You have to decide how important it is for you to concentrate efficiently enough to solve some of the more basic contradictions in your situation at least enough to get you back into the groove and still be on top of it. It is something you will be doing the rest of your life and staying on top of it means to stay in front of the responsibilities far enough to be comfortable and enjoy being in the groove again. And for most that means a lot of hard work at the beginning at least long enough to get on top of it again.

Do your homework away from everything, like at the table and only take one break every hour.
