My girlfriend would probably hate me writing this. shethinks I fuss to much! lol....She's been suffering from nightmares of bad occurances from her past to do with sexual abuse (and more) She cannot sleep at all. In the past she as had to rely on drugs to help her sleep and avoid nightmares, but she can no longer take drugs for this so she's hardly getting any sleep apart from the odd drifting in and out of sleep for a minute or two. She will not get counceling or speak to anyone about this, which I can understand cause it must be difficult for her to talk about the past and her nightmares in detail, I've even suggested writing a diary blog to put it all into the that but that seems to be too difficult too. Shes a very busy person, and sometimes I have no idea how she has the strength to do it all with a lack of sleep. I'm forever trying to find an answer to this problem for her even though we've tried everything. Just hopin maybe some1 out there as the answer.....

Synaesthesia is a condition where you perceive letters and numbers as colored. I have this form and another form where numbers/letters have genders and personalities in addition to colors. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synesthesia

What are your numbers like when you don't have synaesthesia? They are just numbers with no gender? Are they neutral? Or do you not think of them as having gender at all? Plus, how do you remember sequences of numbers?

(I know this sounds weird, but please be patient, I find this extremely puzzling.)

in my dream i dreamt about my ex bf from 9 yrs ago he was my 1st love we spilt bad and it was a happy time together but in dream he turned up in the preseant day and we were and got back together(trust me i would never take him back if i still new him)this dream as really spooked me as im going through a really chapter in my life and happy with my chap of 6 yrs so why would i be dreaming about this bad person from my past and we are real happy??

Every once in a while i would hear someone calling me for help. It's like a female voice in my head saying help meeee in a ghostly tone. Lastnight I heard it again and a little girl in my head well it sounded like a little girl saying "I beg you, help me!" I know you might think i'm crazy but i'm not what should I do? I do live near a cemetary but it's coming from my head?

I have severe mood swings. I have days where I feel really sad and every little thing makes me cry, and days when I am mad at the world and I just want to kick and punch things(sometimes I do-usually my steering wheel). There are times when I'm feeling so happy it makes me jump up and down and giggle like a little kid.

If I'm upset about something, it's all I can think about/want to think about/obsess over and the smallest distraction will make me furious. Even the ringing of the phone at work.

I over-analyze things people say to me, to the point of driving myself practically crazy over it.

I am usually quiet and reserved, but at times can be extremely outgoing, talkative and friendly.

When I love someone I devote every ounce of my being to them and feel disappointed and unloved when they aren't willing to do the same.

I really need to figure out what the problem is and how to fix it before I ruin my life with it.

I am really shy. but i also have always been squeamish when it comes to hugs, kisses , etc. My family and relatives know that i am like this. my mom even says i'm cold when i flinch when she rubs my shoulders, pats my back, etc. My cousins always say, "i know you hate hugs' or "aren't you going to kiss me hello?" because they know i never do it. They used to take it personally but i think they've figured it out by now that it's just my personality. Even my best friend comments whenever she hugs me. I give her a very pathetic hug back. I also have difficulties with terms of endearment and cute talk. For example, once my friend said "i love you" and i didn't say anyting, and she said, "that's okay you don't have to love me" "or "you don't have to say it back" i'm not saying i DON'T love these people in my life,in fact i am appreciative of them, it's just that i never show it. it makes me uncomfortable and i would blush if i had to say it, and be embarrassed. What is wrong with me?

Ok, just suppose you consider yourself as a beautiful person, no one is like you AT ALL !!! There's only you in this world...But what does really happen in your mind when sometime (not very often) you can't face your own face in the mirror ? That's when you think, for a moment, "oh dear !
