why cant i rate a good or bad answer??? i clcik on the hand/thumb thing but nowt happens!!???

The thumbs up and thumbs down tool is only available once you reach level 2.
To get to level 2 you need to have 250 points, so you are well on your way!
Keep answering questions and voting for unresovled answers, and you'll be there in no time!

Keep answering questions and once you have reached level 2 you can start thumb up and thumb down, keep going you will be there in no time.

Rating, you have to go to discover, then go to undecided questions, and you choose a best answer... when you hit the thumbs up thingy, that is just like saying that you think the person gave a good answer, or had good ideas, but it's not RATING it.... or voting on undecided questions...

You can't vote till you get to Level 2, mate. Keep answering, you'll get there!
Quick tip: if you click on your points total, it brings up a summary of the different levels, and things you can do at each level.

you need to get to level 2 with the points, as you're on level 1, you can't rate answers
