I have a friend that is planning to change her name because she thinks that it'll help her with her as a being, but she is nervous about it. I know a name change is big, but i don't know how to help her. What do i do?

How about offering her your empathic ear, your full acceptance of her and of her dilemma, and your certainty that you will continue to be her friend, without embarrassment, whichever choice she makes?

If you tell her what she should do she may resist, or she may do as you say and then hold you responsible for the consequences. If you hold the space for her to 'feel out' her choice, she is more likely to "own" her decision and be at peace with it.

A name change is a big deal. Unfortunately, it is pretty much symbolic and won't create much of a difference in her life. (Unless she is in witness protection). Personality is a pretty stable variable. What aspects is your friend questioning? I guess if I were her friend I would suggest therapy before name change.
