You ought to be your best company.
oh yeah, the books are always better. Take The Count of Monte Cristo for example... That movies was an utter travesty and a rape of classical literature... I was sickened when I saw it.

I go to the movies and have dinner by myself all the time. I would much rather be with someone. The book is always better. Try to read the book and then see the movie and judge for yourself.

I do not go to the movies or have dinner by myself, but maybe it would be a good thing to do, once in a while. If I had to choose from the two, I would take the book, but I see them as two different things. You can enjoy them both in a different way.

no, i would much rather go 2 the movies and dinner with another person or a group of friends. it would b so much more fun if u had more ppl with u! and it all depends on how the book or moive is. take for example Eragon, i personally think the movie wasnt tht great but the book was terrific!

Not yet, but I probably will someday since a man usually passes away before his wife. And I bet my best blues that the book will always be the best beside any movie, but that's just for me. When I read I create my own movie and it caters to my tastes.

Yes, time alone is good to think and be yourself. Try doing both, different people prefer different things. Find what you like best.
