I believe it's wrong, how does a child learn from being assaulted and physically abused. How beneficial is it to have memories of your role models (parents) being violent? Is it not better to work on building their self-esteem and teaching them that if anyone assaults them its wrong? I believe making them feel they are worthy of respect serves them well.
What about all those crazy, unbalanced individuals who bleat 'it never did me any harm' I think the Scandinavians can teach us a lot, they outlawed it first and they seem fairly balanced and less troubled than a lot of cultures.

Im in dire need of Psychology experts
Before the age of 13, I had a happy childhood, father present, parents married..then after that age, everything fell apart and my parents divorced, dad moves out permanently (havent seen him in years)...However my mother has played an extremely important role in my life. Now, Im 17 years old and Im currently staying with a host family in France...the family bonds are very stable, however its me who is having emotional difficulties concerning the dad in the family. I just cant' stand him and he is really doing nothing wrong! He is a decent guy, however when he tells me what to do, (like concerning chores) it just frustrates the heck out of me! And the mom, in my opinion, works much more than he does! She leaves for work; he is still there, he comes home from work before she does..and we all know about the french cuisine and the female dominance in that area, but he does nothing to aid her! Will I ever be able to live happily with a man?

e.g. truly forgiving someone for causing the death to a loved one, causing pain and suffering, etc. Could you really forgive them in your heart of hearts?

I am a thirteen year old girl. The dreams are always different, but they are always scary. What bothers me most is after my nightmares I will wake up but I can not move and if I cant wake up I will go back into the nightmare. The scary thing is I can baraly open my eyes, but when they are open I can see my room and hear the noises that are in my room (like my cat eating her cat food). Its almost like im parolized or something. Can you tell me why, how and if you had the same problem?

Why the burial ritual with an apron just like the masons? Why did false prophet Joseph Smith just steal the rituals he learned in the masonic lodge and create a false religion? Why is it called The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints why not a Freemasonic Lodge or The Temple of Hiram Abiff of Scottish Rite Freemasonry (Wouldn't that be more correct?) Why is it Joseph Smith and Brigham Young were both Freemasons and the Mormon religion is Freemasonry thinly veiled as Christianity use a search engine and ask your self about the compass, square, aprons, hand grips, rituals from god or masons? I thought Christ was sent to give us eternal life through god the father in heaven not establish a secret society on Earth?

P.S. My G-Pa was a High Priest in the LDS church and my G-Ma was buried in her magic underwear with the symbols of masonry NOT Jesus Christ sewn in her apron and burial garmets.

I've been wondering for a while if i'd be considered a pessimistic person, If I tend to see the bad in people, but realistically bad is what's more in a person. For example, I don't give people the benefit of the doubt when it comes to moral issues. What do you guys think?

Is my fiancee insecure about his looks ?
am gettin married this week, and ours is an arranged marriage, i had only seen him in chat and in photos and he looked ok.
but recently i met him in person and i have to say i was disappointed. and then he started talkin to me, and it all seemed fine, and my disappointment sort of faded.
not to be boastful, but i do look very pretty.
since he met me, he has been askin me how come i agreed to marry him since he is not a match for me.. he asks jokingly, but i kinda feel hurt when he does so, since i really do like him.. regardless of his looks.. and i dono wat to say when he asks that question.. and am worried that my not respondin might give him the wrong impression that may be i don really like him..
i ve told him many times that i like him as he is.. is he being insecure or jus funny ? although i don think its funny...
and how can i assure him that i love him no matter how he looks ?
wat do i tel him if he brings up tis issu again?

I have so mant ideas all day long, and I truly think I could change mankind? I don't understand how come we all talk to each other and understand what were saying?? Its like were all chained down to the meaning of words???????????? I just wanted to include that story of one of my thoughts I have that one the most. Is this normal thought behavor? for everyday life?? 24/7??
