Recently I've become interested in the subject and although I'm not a total believer, I really want to find out more. From a reliable source, not religious beliefs. I'd also be keen to undergo regression and see if it turns anything up, but don't know where or how in the UK you can do this.

P.S. Is there any way you can meditate or self-hypnotise to find out something yourself?

Any help, personal experiences or suggestions welcome!

If you have been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder, and also have great difficulty sleeping ... do you think the meds cause more damage to your body, or do you think by not taking the meds to reduce anxiety and help your body sleep, that the stress would cause more harm to the body in the long run?

Does it make more sense to get a good night's sleep and feel healthy, rather than irritable and unable to concentrate?

Aside from the dangers of addiction to meds of course, what do you think is more healthy? With or without meds?

I'm 16 & all my life i have worried over something or another. i only remember one time that i have not been worried and then 5 minutes later i worry again. it is about my health more than anything. Lately i am worried about having a brain tumor. my mom asked a doctor about it and when she said i had a brain scan 2 years ago(i was getting dizzy so a consultant told me to have one) he said it would have shown up on that. i got over it then but a teacher was talking in class once about her brother who had a brain tumor and he was constanly thirsty and now about a week later i am thirsty constanly. i know deep down there is nothing wrong with me and the only reasin i am thirsty is probaley bacause she was talking about it. What can i do to make myself stop worrying?

Please help bacause i can't cope with it anymore and please don't tell me to have a brain scan because that is not an option (to long to explain)

I don't know. people have done me very wrong in the past, and I haven't noticed anything really done wrong the same on them-at least not yet. But also people have done me very wrong in the past and I've seen the same things happen to them, and it seem like it made them change. however, it doesn't seem like what goes around ALWAYS comes around.

people always say "oh, bullying is a normal part of life," and "oh they don't mean any harm, don't let them get to you," but in reality, people commit suicide over the effects that being bullied has had on them----why don't more people know this? or do they know it, but do they just not care? I personally think its always easier to minimize a situation if you're not in it and going through it yourself. just like if you have a bad stomachache, the average person probably would tell you "just down some pepto and take a nap-you'll feel better," but if if they were feeling the same pain, it probably wouldn't be that simple. Don't you agree?

have you ever been bullied? and if so, did it have any detrimental effects on you? i've been bullied for like the past 7 years and so far I've gained about 60 pounds, i've lost my vision in my right eye (due to severe and sudden weight gain), suffered with bulimia, began smoking cigarettes, and mainly, a lot of psychological trauma (insomnia, obsessing over one event, loss of relationships with people, constantly thinking of my bully, and severe depression, feelings of guilt, hopelessness, and many more). how to cure these things?

Would you be scared? Would you talk to yourself? Would you walk past yourself? It may be time travel. It may be a twin you never knew about. It may be an uncanny resemblance. What would you do? And this person is wearing identical clothing.

Two of the finance officers who are junior to me but are very close to the manager finance are creating problems for me. Both failed a promotion exam in which I was member of the assessment board. Both of them are above 50 and I am 30. They are always looking for opportunities to let me down. Having found no mistakes in my work they have now turned to my character. I have talked to other seniors but it seems they want to remain out of it. The tactics used by them are that they have turned my friends into my enemies by feeding them with base less things and proving that they will earn in my loss; they are constantly prompting the manager finance to report against me in matters that are often not related to me. The manager finance is a person who used to earn a lot of black money by misusing his position, it seems that I am in his way. This is going on for the last one year. I believe in the good in people and believe in helping others not to make mistakes ininstead of letting them make mistakes and later blackmailing them for their mistakes.

I know it's about control, but what in the rapist/sadist's life or upbringing would make them want to seek out power in that way?

I have some possible theories:

1. the rapist/sadist grew up with a father that was aggressive & a control freak with his family & the rapist learned that behavior since many kids pick up traits from parents

2. the rapist/sadist grew up with a domineering mother who overpowered their father; the mother was abusive & the child decided to pay back the favor against others, to prove to him/herself that their future spouse wasn't going to treat them like their mother

3. the r/s had a series of bad relationships where their partners rejected them

4. the r/s had overprotective or overbearing parents who nitpicked whatever they did & feeling the lack of control in their childhood they grew up wanting a different future, thinking that other people were going to act like their parents & not allow them freedom

I would like to know what careers are best suited for an INTJ that does not have the math background for a career in science or math. How can I survive a normal 9-5 that is not in research or some other "brain using" field? I have 15 years of retail experience and hated every minute of it.
