Is it just me or does the negative media we are fed not support the apathy in public opinion and general disregard of humanity. If the attitude "If it bleeds, it leads." isn't changed, I can only see more negativity as a result.

I want to get a tattoo as a reminder to myself to pursue recovery for an eaing disorder. I'm looking for *pretty* symbols that I can use. I was hoping someone could help me find a symbol from the NEDA that is **colorful** or something from another symbol that is associated with eating disorders. Maybe something from somethingfishy.net with the fishes.

The best image or original idea gets 10 points! Thank you.

Thank you!

Can wearing black all the time make you feel more negative- or wearing yellow make you feel more positive? And if so, is that unique to the culture? whereas in China, I believe, white is the funeral color and red the wedding color; can red make you feel more positive, and white make you feel negative? Or is it just something that's unique to the individual- depending on what each person relates a specific color to, to determine how they feel?

I had a dream the other night that a friend of mine lead me to the edge of a road, and suddenly we were like on a rooftop overlooking a huge city. There was a cold wind blowing, but the sight of the lights of the city were breathtaking. It was really cool, but kinda weird. Would anyone know what that could mean, if there is something behind it?

I was dreaming that I was in the a Hospital (im a pre-med) so I try to be involved in volunteer etc. and everything was blury and kind of faded... there were a lot of people in blue uniforms and they were all walking very fast next to me... and then I saw one of my far far far away cousins who has a little baby (3yrsold) and she was talking to my mom...saying,
"I feel really bad for my daughter, everytime I look at her and I see her missing arm I feel so sad for her!" then my cousin would show tears and deep sadnees and my mom was being supportive and everything.
Then my cousin and her husband give me a crib with the baby inside. she was wrapped up in blankets. and I tried to pick her up...and play with her but she never smiled and looked at me with deep sorrow as if she knew about her arm. I tried to make her stand but she could never balance with her arm missing. I would just kept staring at her arm and felt sorry for her and scared too.
after that the dream was blurr....Opinions!!!

I didn't resolve things with a guy I dated before he died. I broke his heart because I didn't realize how much he cared. (It was at the time really casual for me.) He was a gentlemen and explained he understoood I cared for someone else and he didn't have bad feelings toward me. Later, he was diagnoised with an illness and I contacted him but didn't really follow up after he indicated he was in remission and doing ok. I was later contacted and told he had passed. As I've gotten older I realize how awful I behaved (self-centered) and how amazing he was even as a young man. I feel extreme guilt over the situation. I wish I could go back and appreciate him as a person. Its not about romance. Its about valuing a good human being that was cheated out of the opportunity to live his life. How do I do that when I cannot express to him how sorry I am that his life was cut short and that I didn't have the decency to follow up on his health.

The situstion is my fiance' works with the government and is union. She gets constant hassles from her upper supervisor due to the fact she is the only one in her area that is union. It has gotten to discrimination and racial stages with the supervisor now. Even under the fair labor act, they refuse to notice unions on this military base. Her health has gone severely downhill due to it. Should she take a early retirement or hold on till she can transfer to another government base?
