I was dreaming that I was in the a Hospital (im a pre-med) so I try to be involved in volunteer etc. and everything was blury and kind of faded... there were a lot of people in blue uniforms and they were all walking very fast next to me... and then I saw one of my far far far away cousins who has a little baby (3yrsold) and she was talking to my mom...saying,
"I feel really bad for my daughter, everytime I look at her and I see her missing arm I feel so sad for her!" then my cousin would show tears and deep sadnees and my mom was being supportive and everything.
Then my cousin and her husband give me a crib with the baby inside. she was wrapped up in blankets. and I tried to pick her up...and play with her but she never smiled and looked at me with deep sorrow as if she knew about her arm. I tried to make her stand but she could never balance with her arm missing. I would just kept staring at her arm and felt sorry for her and scared too.
after that the dream was blurr....Opinions!!!

pre med anxiety coupled with the fact that all your studies reinforce the fact that we are all mortal and anything can and will happen to any of us.... i'm going to go out on a limb and say that you've never really experienced tragedy in your immediate circle, so you are not yet sensitized to that sort of realization of mortality and i'll go further to say that you are the type of person who feels short of breath when studying the lungs. - my apologies if im completely wrong.

Every dream is connected with your own "reality". Thus, in interpreting your dreams, it is important to draw from your personal life and experiences.
Most dreams contain messages that serve to teach us something about ourselves.

It sounds like you have alot on your plate, you are afraid that you will not in control of the situation and you dont have the time to do the things that you would rather be doing, or that you won't be able to do enough to help. The Blur might be that you are trying to see things clearly, but you just cant. The fact that you are pre med is probably why you were in the hospital setting. The family relation (but not to close relation) might represent the lack of closeness you feel toward patients. Do you feel guilty that you don't have feelings of closeness to your family?

Here is what the dream dictionary says...
Arms

If you dream your arm or arms have been injured and unusable then this is brought on by a feeling of loss connected with the ability to care for yourself, (if you are an older person), or a feeling of helplessness in reaching out to others, ( in a sense that your arm is bound ), and a restriction of your activities. Your right arm is associated with your outgoing nature, and the left arm represents your supportive, or nurturing nature.

Baby:
Crying babies in a dream may foretell of ill health or minor disappointments in your personal life while a bright, clean baby speaks of a wonderful love affair or even the making of many new friends. A nursing baby can mean contentment or even deception when taken in relation to other symbols in your dream. Dreaming of a baby can also denote the state of your soul life, again in relation to the other signs.

Hospital:

To dream that you are a patient in a hospital shows that you may soon be exposed to some contagious disease and there is the possibility that you will contract it. If you are only visiting a hospital then you will be able to avoid the illness. To see a friend in a hospital shows that you will soon here some distressing news about that person.

cousin...cousin and husband...cousin and mother...cousin and baby...baby with missing arm...mother sympathetic, cousin very sad (grieving)...the baby is given to you...you feel sympathetic and also afraid...Well, consider the dream as it might relate to what is happening in your life at this time. Your cousin and her husband and your mother and your busy pre-med life (maybe you are so busy with school and feel some guilt you are neglecting your mother and/or cousin). The missing arm and the lack of balance seems meaningful. Suggesting a lack of balance in your own life? Maybe the dream is telling you to balance your pre med life with your home life.

MAYBE feel bad that you dont spend enough time with your cousins because they might ask you to babysit....? hmm or
you know that something is bothering your cousin but wont tell your mom!
sometimes they say that when you feel sad it means the oposite and that you are really happy for them but maybe you just havent told them or acted like it so you harbor your feelings .
my last guess is that it really happened to you in a past life and you were that child with the missing arm.

I'm of the opinion that dreams don't really mean anything. This one is a borderline nightmare and those are just the types we tend to remember when we wake up.
