When I was w/ my ex, I helped him thru suicide feelings and depression. He put me through alot. Well, he ended our relationship but wasn't truthful as to why. He wanted to get to know the girl that made him feel this way because she got pregnant w/ his child before we met. Anyhow, I had a diffifcult time dealing and had to find out what else he lied to me about, I found out alot more, one was he said hurtful things about me to this person when I did nothing but help him. He lied to me becasue he knew I was a "good" girl, classy and not trashy and didnt want me to know his secrets. Anyhow, I called him and left him a message. I told him, he was a liar, manipulator, trash, ungrateful for what I did for him, and that he was everything he said he wasn't. Well, he cant confront me and said he does not want to talk to me?! Do you think he is ashamed? How can someone treat another human being this way, knowing what I didfor him and how I cared?I know he is a liar, but do liars even feel shame?

What animal should a person like this like.
- They like to be alone and isloated from people, but they do have friends and hang out with them sometimes. They see the world as it is operating, more than living in the world themselves. They like to have friends, but they are very careful not to trust anybody because they believe if someone gets to know them, they then know their weakness and can harm them. Lastly, they believe in violence is the 2nd answer. If you get hit once, you wait. If you get hit twice, you make them suffer

Well, it can be any subject relating to anthropology, sociology or psychology... But psychology interests me more. It is something we'll be working on all semester. I want something interesting and allows me a lot of room to do my own research like surveys, interviews, perhaps put a videotape together..

I am interested in dreams, but I am not sure what I can do with that topic.

ANY ideas would be greatly appreciated!! Also, what other methods of research could I use (primary research)

Thanx ♥

Hi, i am just wondering whether people have the ability to guess the personality of other people just by looking through their picture. On this link there's a picture of two persons. I need you to describe as detail as possible anything about these 2 persons, such as: age, name, personality, hobby, favourite book, favourite music, even their sexual preferences... anything. But the most important is what kind of relationship do these people have? friends? stranger? partner? teacher-student? just guess it.

...do they get more or less like themselves? Say, if a drunk person did something really bad - are they being taken over by the alcohol, or is the alcohol showing who they really are?

Anyone have experience with this? Thanks for any input!

How can people that were a big part of your life drift away to the point where you don't see them at all and when you do it makes you lonelier than when you did not see them at all? This happens a lot through life. At some point, certain people were huge parts of my life and now there is nothing when I see them.

I understand that people grow in different directions, but how do people just stop loving other people (not necessarily in a sexual way)? I have stopped loving other people that were in my life and other people have stopped loving me. We all do this, but how? I once did not attend someone's funeral because I did not know them very well. Yet, at one point I spent quite a bit of time with them. I've seen other people do the same thing.

I recently ran into somebody from my past. It made me sad that we had lost contact in the first place. Why do people stop caring?

I always hear and see the word homophobia used for people that object to homosexual behavior. Based on my belief that the Bible is the True Word of God, I think that homosexual behavior (not the person) is sinful and wrong. In NO WAY am I even REMOTELY FEARFUL of any homosexual person or even the act because I would not ever be in the situation that it would affect me in one way or another. So if pathophobia (fear of disease), monophobia (fear of being alone),glossophobia (fear of public speaking), algophobia (fear of pain), etc. are all fears as the word phobia implies, what does homophobia mean?? Are people using this completely incorrectly?? What are you thoughts??

I have always been "odd" but now I am starting to really worry. I have a toddler and will wake up in the middle of the night and begin to think about what i will do when he dies. I feel like he will never live to see 18 because he will be killed. I know I will never hurt him and it is not me that does him harm. When I was a child (pre-18) I used to think of my own death (by my own hands though) and get all emotional about it. It seems like i just plan for everything to be taken away before it happens so that I am prepared for it. I come really down on myself because i feel like i am not doing right by him but I am doing the best I can as a single mother. Am I nuts and how can I stop thinking about us dying or one or the other dying. I try not to consciously think about it but when my brain is quite that is what jumps in there. It happens when I am on the bus, it happens when I am in school, it happens when I listen to some songs.
