Do you have to be taught physic abilities? If they are just a gift, how did you know you had them?

Some people are just born with really sharp psychic abilites and those that continue to have them throughout their adult lives don't question their gift or second guess themselves. I believe everyone has that psychic energy to a certain degree, and most of us refer to it as intuition. Basically it's that feeling you get when you know you shouldn't go to a certain place at a certain time, or that feeling when you know something's not right.

I am not psychic but I've read a lot on metaphysics and spirtuality, and I've learned first of all that if you want to be or do anything you have to have faith in yourself or it's not going to happen for you. In order to become more psychic you're going to have to stop thinking and questioning things so much, pay less attention to what your mind thinks and more attention to your feelings, and when you have a feeling about something and you feel that little knowing whisper that says turn here or do this, or don't try that, don't right it off as being a silly thought, follow that voice or feeling.

Then the more you pay attention to it, the more it's going to grow, like a muscle. I suggest going to a metaphysics section at a book store and you'll find books on this topic.

Do you mean psychic? I read that we all have them, some people have stronger psychic powers than others. There are mental exercises that you can dohttp://www.neurolinguistic.com/pnl/scannedebooks/practical_mental_influence/

If you can't use your brain to spell psychic, you really haven't got a shot at supernatural powers.
