I cannot help the way I am, but I am always looking for perfect and my life has become far from it. I am 35 and find myself alone without any children because I was always searching for the perfect situation that never came. I find myself completely depressed now.

You have a dream, one that you might not tell anyone, but its there deep down nonetheless, and you are working towards it, or hoping for it to come about or pretending it doesn't exist...Why? Fear. Fear that once you start to do what it takes to achieve your dreams you will fail or you will succeed (yep fear of success is a plausable deterant). Knowing this, what do you do with your fear? How will you fight against it to move closer to your goal?

Its a common observation. When a brain is getting restless maybe due to some traumatic condition. Who is going to help it relax. The brain itself or someone with in you? Is it brain itself? I doubt it. Lets assume that someone suggested to your brain that do some meditation but WHO is accepting the suggestion. It it brain again? Isn't there an actor involved at all? Who is deciding what is good or bad for him? Then why does the response vary from individual. Is it the genes (I am not good at genes and not sure if genes really help in this case) that help him make this decision that letting it go is going to help him. Assuming genes helped, how did this genes even develop that ability in the first place the understanding that letting it go is going to get me out of this trauma? Is it possible that spiritual healers' suggestions have helped us come out of that or is it that our brains have that inbuilt? Isn't there an actor that has some intellect?

I know how the DSM-IV TR defines these two disorders, but they seem very similar in real-life clients. Is it likely that narcissists have antisocial tendencies and vice versa? I understand that narcissists have an overdeveloped ego and a preoccupation with themselves, but then again, so do most sociopaths. How does one differentiate between the two diagnoses?

First you get pionts for raising your hand to answer a question. Now we can get "STARS" if someone else looks at our question. This whole structure seems a bit "second grade".

Life is full of coincedences and so called unexplained events. ^Many people dismiss these as a trick of the mind where as some become obsessed with it and form serious mental problems. I am somewhere inbetween. Im not religious but do believe we are all enery and that it wont disipate. Tell me about visions, spirits, esp or someother strange event that has happened to you or a friend. Some such events can be put down to the working of the human mind , I am fully aware of that 3,but there are a few that just cant be explained by conventional science these are the ones of interest to me.
