Because some choose to 'skulk' on the side and gain pleasure out of disettling another.

Those who do as you stated in your question have the trait in them of being sad, insecure, sarcastic, they try to elevate themselves by stepping on anothers back. They are people of sad not yet emotionally evolved minds.

When you read answers as that, just view them as seeing someone in public coming up to you and sneering at you and saying some rude comment. You would just look at them, give them an odd look and move them out of your space. Like that person in public making a rude comment or here . . . those people don't know you . . . they are of sadder hearts and are unevolved. . . just send a 'unseen' heart hug to them and leave them be.

It depends what your question is - some questions are pretty much loaded with arrogance and negativity themselves. Other questions are very obviously set up so that the asker can make some cheap point by picking the kind of answer they've already decided on.

In my opinion these sorts of questions are crying out for all the negativity people on here can throw at them because they're converting an open question-and-answer forum into some kind of politico-religious pulpit for their preconceived ideas and bigotry.

Like it or not, an individual has a right to be arrogant. The Yahoo! terms and conditions make Yahoo! Answers seem like it is intended to be a legitimate forum where users are expected to provide helpful answers, but that doesn't mean everybody complies with those terms and conditions. Personally, I try to learn from other users on Yahoo! Answers rather than attacking them. But nobody's perfect. You recognize negativity is best avoided. But like it or not, an individual has a right to be negative. You have a right to avoid those ones.

Because this world is so full of unhappy people everywhere..... And unhappy people like it when everyone else unhappy. There is kind of bitterness in people when they see someone is happy. Misery loves company. So instead of giving a straight nice and polite answer, they interject and rip through everything possible just simply to create another chaos on something or someone...
Misery loves company remember..... That is why......

Are you sure it's arrogance and negativity, or is it that you don't like, or disagree with, the answers? If I tell you that hypnosis is a crock, it's not arrogant; it's simply the truth. If I call President Bush a liar, it's not mere negativity, it's also the plain, unvarnished truth. In either case, if you dislike or disagree with my remarks, you're welcome to present your counter-argument(s). But don't call me negative or arrogant just because you don't like what you hear - that puts you in a more negative light than it does my remarks!

I always answer painfully truthful and straight. I am known for being blunt to a fault.

I would guess because many people who answer questions are boosting their own egos and don't give a zip about your needs.
