I am a Caribbean resident. I have finished an associate degree program in a community college in my area. Majoring in Biology, Chemistry and Math. I enjoy helping people through councelling and studying how people react to different stimuli. I want to become a clinical or developmental psychologist, by the age of 27. I am now 20. Can anyone help me?

I let people walk all over me and give me orders. It gets hard at work when people tell me to do things that aren't my boss because I feel bad and don't want them to bust their *** (i.e. I know what it feels like) but when the time comes around when I need help I never ask, plus I never get any help. Hell, half the time I'm so shoulder-bagged with everyone else's bullshit I slow my own work down and I get insulted for being slow. When people snap at me I don't say anything I just suck all of the insults up and have to unload them at the end of the day.
It seems to me that no one else has a problem walking all over me. Inside I've become rather cynical at this point. I'm determined not to make a victim out of myself, but I don't want to be walked upon anymore.

When my crush saw me yeterday he got confused...he was with a girl and I was in the same caffe bar...and when he saw me...he put that girl with some people (probably they had to meet ), and left runing like from hell. I acted very calm...indees I wasn't...evn though we said to each other 6 months ago that we can't be a couple ( cuz he wanted his freedom)...still my heart reacted when I saw him.
Does he feels the same way.?
P.s Our eyes met and we couldn't stop seeing each other

I mean, you must spend a lot of time thinking, but how much? Do you spend 50 years if you're 55 years old, or do you spend all of your life?(You probably will have to think some more for this question) :)

Has anybody tried Modafinil (Provigil, Modalert, Alertec) to counteract the inevitable side effect of Lexapro fatigue?

I used to have an issue of Omni that had an article (might have been 2 issues in two parts) about how to train yourself to control your dreams (fly, get out of nightmares without waking, etc..). Does anyone have this and could possibly scan the article(s) and email it to me? This goes way back to the 80s I think. Just thought I'd give it a shot.

If one has been convicted of certain crimes then they can have all kinds of things that they can not do, places where they are forbidden to be at or live at, but they can all go down the public roads in public bathrooms, in motels and hotels, and restaraunts, and other places. Many of these people also have psychiatric labels, so how do we know what a person with a label looks like? Is there any way to spot them out of a crowd?

I keep having the recurring dream where I am in a dark tunnel with a faint light at the end. The tunnel keeps moving forward and backwards making it hard for me to hold on but I trek onward toward the the light. When I get close I notice the light is an opening and then exit and feel a relief, but a little tired and then I realize I'm inside a translucent latex bubble and then I wake up in a panic. What's up with this dream?

Sometimes people will tense their shoulders and kind of sink their head down in a prolonged shrug. I've realize tthis usually happens if the person is getting complimented or receiving attention (positive or negative).

Can anyone explain what this behavior means though? Does anybody know why people do this?

Also, is it a particular behavior people frown upon or embrace?

I am a senior in high school and with the arduous work of deciphering what college I would like to attend, retaking the ACT, looking for a job, filling out the FAFSA forms, keeping up my 4.3 GPA, staying focus and studying and maintaining my status as being the number one student in my senior calss, I rarely have no time to relax and enjoy life around me. I have had a couple of breakdowns. Despite, the fact that I have friends who encourage me from time to time, it seems as if I am continously stuck in a boring world. Again, what is the best way to relax and enjoy life ahead of you at a young age?
