not at all, there was a story on a man who risked his life saving a boy who had passed out right on tracks where a train was headed straight for him. the hero was awarded with a metal and $10,000 from donald trump and he even had a college fund started with his 2 small daughters who were with him at the time. i beleive if you are a good person, and do the right thing, you will be rewarded, regardless of whether it's a small thank you, to a whopping $50,000 for doing somethig you didn't have to do.
i believe everything has a reprocussion. you are what determines which way your luck will lean.
NICE PEOPLE DO NOT FINISH LAST,THEY FINISH STRONG.
if being nice caused me to loose a race due to helping someone in need,it's not lost-you made a difference in someone elses life. i would be much more proud to have helped a person in need than to receive a trophy that will eventually deteriorate, but that's just me

Most of the time. Sad to say, it's because nice people are afraid to do the risky stuff. They'd rather walk the straight path than be caught doing bad deeds. I do believe in one of the "8 Beatitudes" saying that "Blessed are those with a pure heart for they shall see God." Just a thought...

It depends on what you are calling nice? Some times what looks nice is not nice and what looks not nice is actually nice.

Its ok to be nice, but just be careful not to be too nice especially to someone who is just using you and taking you for granted.

The things you give from your heart don't go away:
they remain in the hearts of those who receive them.
And those who laugh last, laugh best.
